That's not saying Bargnani can, but at least we can say that he has yet to be tested in that regards. Who knows, maybe Thibs can squeeze some defense and rebounding out of his soft ass. I don't like that Nate would be involved tho.

We've all come up with something as good as the Bargnani / Amare swap, the don't do Amare / Bargnani swap. Bulls fans prefer "amnesty Boozer and get nothing" instead of Bargnani. :lol It's fairly similar to Knick fan's thoughts on it.

Amare can still put up 18/7 in 30 MPG if he got it & that's something Melo needs next to him to take the scoring load off him. Sheed or Camby coming back is vital too because we need a defensive big coming off the bench. If either of them can't contribute, I'd try & trade Brewer or waive White/Cope for a player like K-Mart or Amundson.

You have to be crazy if you think Ross would be included on a deal to take even more salary and just as bad defence on in Boozer. If we can drop a couple bad contracts while getting Boozer and a backup PG in Nate, I'd do it. Not giving Ross up just to get rid of Bargnani though when we could simply amnesty him.

Actually its less trades then you are trying to make it sound like. All of those players basically fell under my words.. a few trades and a semi big one that didnt exactly make sense at the time.

Btw, im not hating on waiting on trades to happen. I for one, am awaiting any words just as the rest of you. Im just trying to say that maybe our expectations should be lowered in order to not be as disappointed.

None of those players mentioned are stars or high profile players except Ellis.. But yeah I know for those of us that are obsessive, we get our fix with even the smallest of names. So again I aint hatin' just disillusioned by the lack of activity, much like everyone else.. :oldlol:

I was just about to post this. The Nets do not need Paul Pierce at all. We need an athletic, quick forward because the Nets starting unit is slow and not athletic at all. Any team quicker than the Nets gives them troubles. A trade has also been proposed for Dwight according to some source and it has him going to the Nets. The hilarious part is that Brook isn't part of the deal.:rolleyes:

Exactly, and with each trade both parties have specific requirements in which the other needs to meet and that is hard in itself. A big name player like Smith has held alot of trades from possibly happening, teams holding out to see if they can acquire him first. And then there is Boston, who have one guy as the heart and soul of the team, and another guy who has a no trade clause in his contract which is making it hard for Danny to move them too.

Like I've said, if ordinary offers are thrown at Josh Smith, I can only imagine low ball offers extend right accross the trade market. Milsap comes to mind...

The new CBA has a lot to do with it. Teams over the cap are gonna have to pay a LOT more in luxury tax. You're not gonna see Miami type deals going down because of that.

Absolutely. I completely agree particularly with the no sign and trades if your over the cap stipulation that will be instituted.

Matching salaries to be at a certain percentage, meeting luxury tax requirements, meeting CBA regulations, AND getting the pieces you desire back in the transaction must be frustratingly difficult to do.

:oldlol: . Things like this make me realize he should be moved. In a competitive playoff series we can't have 44 percent free throw shooters playing key moments. I read something couple weeks ago that no NBA team has won a title shooting less than 70 percent from the line since the Shaq and Kobe Lakers in like 2002. In other words.... bad free throw shooting= no title unless you have prime Shaq who can offset those issues easily.
