Relations between Kobe Bryant and his Lakers teammate Dwight Howard were beyond icy during the weekend’s All-Star game in Houston — with Howard mocking Bryant behind his back in the locker room, sources exclusively tell Page Six. Amid other reports that the Lakers’ chilly on-court chemistry was spilling into the locker room, we’re told that Howard “grabbed Kobe’s uniform, put it on, and imitated him in front of all the other players on the West team. He was joking and berating Kobe” to fellow NBA stars, including the Clippers’ Chris Paul and Blake Griffin and Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant. The source added Bryant later arrived in the locker room, “said hello to everyone on the team except Howard, grabbed his stuff and moved as far away from Howard as he could.” Despite a recent clear-the-air meeting in Memphis, relations haven’t thawed. At the game, Bryant said, “It doesn’t matter” what his team does with Howard as the trade deadline approaches. Reps for Bryant and Howard didn’t get back to us last night.

This is a fake story for views. How can it be exclusive sources if there's multiple reports? This is like SAS saying Dwight talked to Rudy gay in Toronto except when they played he wasn't even on the team. Dwight deserves hate but not lies

Whether true or not, doesn't really matter. It's really sad no one wants to play with Kobe. D12 tried to avoid the trade coming to the Lakers the first time by extending a year. Then this time he had no choice really. He put on his fake smile and knew it would be over in a year.

Do you really think he wants to come back? Before you say he's leaving money on the table, he did leave money on the table by not going back to Orlando and asking for a trade. He wanted to play for a CONTENDER. This Laker team can't even make the playoffs (at this rate). And you think he wants to come back?

Regardless of if this is true or not Dwight is a baby.

I hope he'll end up on the worst team possible and even miss the playoffs while being the featured guy.

I don't think he necessarily wants to go to a contender first and foremost.

It's kinda obvious he wants to play with his contemporaries (Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, etc).

Ala what Lebron did.

Older cats like Kobe, Nash, and Gasol are like the opposite of who he want's to play with.

Dwight Howard is a lost cause. I'm not the biggest Kobe fan, but I really thought Dwight needed some tough love after being coddled for so long in Orlando and that Kobe was going to be the perfect player to team him up with to cure some of his immaturity.

I honestly didn't think Dwight would outright dismiss him like he has. If he was really serious about winning and winning now he would have embraced Kobe, faults and all.

I'm sure Pau Gasol has thought about murdering Kobe Bryant in his sleep but I bet he'd go to war for him.

So wait, there's another story with "unnamed sources" and people take that as the absolute truth?I believe it all happened.

Then 30 seconds later Kobe started cracking up and was slapping five with Dwight.

Then 30 seconds later Kobe started cracking up and was slapping five with Dwight.

I don't think he would do it if Kobe isn't there like the article suggests.

If this is true, Dwight is a kid and a clown.

Lakers are trying to battle into the playoffs and play together, now Dwight got to stir non-sense up like this. :facepalm . Not a leader. Not a winner. Trade Dwight. Overrated.

I believe it could be true. Maybe Dwight's intentions were to simply be a joke, but still.

I also don't get how this turns into a Kobe bashing thread.

Kobe isn't in the wrong here, Dwight's passive-aggressive actions are. Kobe can be a shitty teammate but he's not instigating this shit.
