That's respectable, it's good to be balanced. Having a deep appreciation for the art form of filmmaking isn't really 'posh' per se. It's just reading into the diversity that all kinds of different movies can provide. It's respect to a creative process that ultimately can hold up a mirror to life and the human condition. It can be heavy and reflective way to 'spend time.' People that choose to indulge in that area of entertainment don't need to be Ivy League educated or smug individuals.
