The Hawks franchise is the Chicago Cubs of the NBA.

If were talking about the "lovable loser" notion, then I don't know which NBA franchise to put as that.

They dont care, thats the thing with bandwagon fans they dont care but trust me if the heat dont win this year they will disappear and their reign of annoyance and lebron slobbering will be over,at least until next season :lol

We didn't cheat. I'm not with the guy you responded to that said they are shitty, but the Heat won fair and square. GTFO.

LOL, no we're 12 games over .500, you can talk if we'd be like 3-6 games over .500. We're not even bad, we've just hit a wall but we have time to recover in time to put in a hurtin' on some of these teams in the playoffs.

No. There is no such thing as curses. They just make bad management moves, and have been a mediocre team lately.

However, they've had a good season this year. They are still 3rd in the East. They improved from last year. There are definitely teams worst off than you.

how did the knicks cheat?
If your theory is that Stern rigged the draft, well then STERN CHEATED, not the knicks.

BTW, Stern DID NOT rig the draft. If you believe he rigged it, you also believe the moon landing was a hoax, and Elvis is still alive.

Are they the Chicago Cubs of the NBA?

Ill give you the real answer...

Franchises arent cursed, their success begins with the owner. Micky Arison in contrast, although a scumbag, is dedicated to putting a winning product on the floor, and admittedly had illegal meetings with then-knicks coah Pat Riley in order to sway him to the Heat. Micky picked a basketball sevant to run the show and the Heat have had a great deal of success.

The Knicks biggest issue aside from their owner has been their complete reulctance to perform a TRUE REBUILD. The Knicks were so scared of a post Ewing era decline they traded any assets in order to "stay afloat". In this league however, the way you build a true long lasing contender is landing a franchise guy in the draft and taking years to surround your man with talent. OKC will have a contending teamfor the next 7 years because of teir core. Although the rebuilding alternative of clearing cap space and signing a franchise guy can occur (Heat with Lebron) its rare and youre often getting a guy in the later half of his career, so the window of opportunity is small. In short, Knicks screwed themselves by continuing to put bandaids on a wound that required stitches

There you go

Knicks are fine. They are a really good team, still 2nd place in the East so I don't really see how you can call them bad. They had a hot start, Knick fans went crazy like they do, they've now came back down to earth.

They aren't better than the Heat, they aren't a top 3 or 4 team in the league and there not cursed because they never were with or without Amare.

Like that means anything. Ask the Celtics and Bulls in 2011 during the playoffs. We're 4-1 against the Knicks in the postseason in the big 3 Era.

No curse. Lousy management.

Amare' is a great example. Bad decision to spend good money on a guy who was a bad risk physically and mentally.
