Indiana
Sixers
Boston
Chicago (maybe)
And Spurs all have shot at winning a game. But the rest, not so much. They could possibly win out. I really don't see any team beating them right now.

Would assume against Memphis but not seen them play since Gay got traded, might be easier to defend now without the threat of Rudy on the wing.

I would like to say Memphis however if they win that one i could see them going on 20+ win streak.I dont think they are gonna lose to knicks for 3rd straight time or indiana for that matter

Memphis simply due to that front court length. Sure they lost Gay but Prince is a great defender with a ton of length

You don't like watching defense and hard nose play?

Let me guess your favorite player is Blake Griffin

Uhhh no hes not my favorite player. I like when teams can score over 85 points. Memphis will win 1 game in the playoffs.

Why do they need to score over 85 points if their opponent has 72

They dont. Theyre boring and that was my main point. They wont be holding any good western teams to 72 points in the playoffs. Guarantee that.

More stacked than your Championship flight team? Impossible.

Kobe's obviously the best in the game
Pau's helped win rings, one of the best big men in the game
Dwight best center in the game
Nash amazing career, hof pg
Metta once an elite defender

This team is a contender for YEARS to come.

People consider the big 3 from Boston (Pierce, Allen, KG) a dynasty when they only have won once :confusedshrug:. One Finals appearance and one championship - the same with this current Heat team. And nobody in the league is beating a team with a prime LeBron James on it 4 times out of 7.

There are only like 5 games out of those I see Miami being threatened by. Memphis, New York, Indiana, Boston and San Antonio. Miami can just undefeated throughout, but that's probably not going to happen with how they sometimes don't show up. But they can reach 20 games and maybe get close to a 25 game winning streak.

I've never seen anyone call the Celtics a dynasty, unless they have a scewed vision of what a dynasty is. A dynasty is 3 championships in 5 years.

Lol, no. This is the NBA, sometimes bad teams just get hot while the good team goes cold. There's no chance they win out.

Heat probably go like 15-4 in that stretch.

They need to beat the Indiana Pacers. Pacers, Spurs and Grizzlies are tough opponents because they have a good front court.

I hope they don't lose again in the regular season, build up very high expectations (especially from the media) and have a down-swing in the playoffs (preferably against a team capable of beating them - meaning not in the first round).

Edit: If they lose in the RS, I'd like it to be against SAS, UTA, HOU, GSW so that Lakers don't make the playoffs. In my dream world, they'll have a long win streak until the Finals where SAS will beat them. I can dream, can't I?

@ New York this Sunday. Miami has struggled @ MSG in the Big 3 era, barring their first game there in 10-11. NY also really gets up to play against Miami, more so than probably any other team in the league besides Boston.

The one that jumps up the most is Atlanta. Good front court/rebounding and right after Indiana which Miami would've been very revved up to play, they may have a slight letdown in the following game.

Indy is the one team that battles Miami, and they are even better this year after George's improvement. Granger was always too much of a one dimensional jump shooter.

West can cancel out Bosh, George can defend Lebron better than anyone, Hill has the advantage over Chalmers, Wade has the advantage at SG, and Hibbert can beast vs whoever (too bad he freaking sucks around the rim).

The series will be very competitive and may go 7 games, Pacers just need to be focused.

I agree and on top of that they can switch it up in case Miami play small ball and it works, they can move West to C, Granger to PF, Geroge SF, Stevenson/Hill @ PG/SG, they really do have the best team to try counter the Heat with size or match them in small ball. But in saying that Miami is Miami and it would still be a big upset.

The Sixers are positioned to be overlooked as is Milwaukee. Indiana is a message game so I think they will be up for that one. They have to be on a high so some team really geared up for them can surprise them. While I think they would naturally only loose about two more games here on out, they will likely overlook some team gunning for them and will rest their starters the last three games. Catching the Spurs isn't that big of deal since they won't likely make it out of the West (never bet against them tho). Tony Parker being out might bring their win total down some but who knows. OKC, is two behind the Heat in the lost column.
