Having seen the new section on NBA.com, I have complied a basic chart of Jordan's shooting from the 1991 playoffs. Only one made 2 pt. field goal by Jordan is unaccounted for, late in the 3rd quarter of Game 1 vs. New York, when TNT had a live look into the Sixers game for a couple of minutes. These are the same templates as found on NBA.com. Keep in mind some of the zones on the first chart overlap the paint and mid-range areas. The paint is separated by shots at the rim (layups/dunks) and shots outside of the rim area (seeing as there was no restricted circle at the time). Mid-range is defined as anything outside the paint and inside the 3 point line. I must say there is little surprise in these results. Any average fan would at least have an idea of where Jordan's sweet spots were on the court with enough games watched.

At Rim: 78/108 FG (72.2%)
In Paint (Overall): 102/171 FG (59.6%)
Mid-Range: 84/178 FG (47.2%)
3 Point: 10/26 FG (38.5%)

Taking Higher % Shots = Minds Of Smarter Players. O Well He Was Much Faster, Quicker, Agil, Stronger and Had More Body Power and Stamina than His Mimic :applause:

Jordan's percentage at the rim (72.2%) is not too far behind Shaq in the 2000 playoffs (75.4%) or 2001 playoffs (73.7%). I may do Barkley (1993) or Olajuwon (1994/1995) next. I wonder what Chuck's FG% was in the paint. :applause:

This was during a time big men ruled and protected the paint.

^No defensive 3 sec or restricted area either. I would like to do a chart of KAJ (1977 or 1980) as well, if all the games were available. Larry Bird too.

Should Do Sir Charles the 1990 Season.

Just To Make a Point Charles Barkley Inside the 3-Point Line for His Career:

Season Career: 21.6 PPG on 58.13% Two-Point FG and Taking ONLY 12.9 Two-Point FGAs PG.

Play-Off Career: 22.5 PPG on 55.13% Two-Point FG and Taking ONLY 14.5 Two-Point FGAs PG.

I Wonder How He Could Have Such High FG% Inside While Scoring 20 On FEWER Attempts?

Charles Barkley is By Far The Greatest Offensive Powerforward Ever!

I would like to see a comparison of MJ's midrange jumpshot % throughout 91-98
