Lebron has been fantastic in the clutch over the Heat's win streak.

This is what Lebron has done in the 4th quarter of Miami's last five games in which the game was close in the 4th quarter (specifically, games in which the score was within 5 points at any point with under 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter):

1. At Knicks (win number 14 of win streak)

12 points, 3 assists

2. vs Memphis (win number 13)

14 points, 1 assist...including the game winner with 24.2 seconds left (technically this is not a "game winner" as defined by advanced stats sites, because it was .2 seconds above the 24.0 second mark...but come on now  )

3. vs Sacramento (win number 12)

20 points and 7 assists in the last 5 minutes of the 4th Quarter, OT, and double OT. :applause:

4. vs Cavaliers (win number 11)

2 points, 1 assist.

5. At Hawks (win number 8)

6 assists and 2 points...he assisted or scored on every Miami FG after subbing into the game with 5:30 remaining in the 4th quarter.

UPDATES:

6. vs Orlando (win number 16)

9 points... including the game winner with 3.2 seconds left to put Miami up by 1 point.

7. at Philadelphia (win number 20)

5 points, 2 assists

8. at Boston (win number 23)

14 points, 3 assists...including the game winner with 10.5 seconds remaining to break the tie at 103, which put Miami up 105-103.

9. at Cleveland (win number 24)

14 points, 3 assists (yet again)...including the two game sealing free throws with 4.7 seconds left in the game to put Miami up by 3 points.

LeBron per36 numbers in the "clutch" (score within 5 with 5 or less to play in the 4th or OT):

27.7 ppg / 11.8 rpg / 11.6 apg / 1.3 spg / 0.5 bpg / 2.0 TOpg / 46.7 FG%

That's because during clutch time lebron's characteristic is to dump the ball to his teammates. 6 assist in the clutch tells you that HIS TEAMMATES ARE CLUTCH! :applause:

:applause: instead of more people being deceived by these lebron fans who want to paint him a clutch picture, now we have the truth from people who watched the games.

so out of the 5 games:
-Knicks game: he made those 2 long threes i'll give you that, but the rest were from dunks and put backs
-Sac game where 2 overtime were needed. inflated stats.
-Grizz game where Jolokia the witness says points were inflated through free throws.
-and of course the 2 games where he scored 2 points 2011 finals style. 1 of them he was rescued by his clutch teammates who made 6 baskets.. but of course lebron fans were going to give the credit to lebron.

So... where is clutch james?

It wasn't a half court fadeaway with his eyes closed though. No skill involved in slicing up the defense and making a layup over 3 people.

The list in the OP is now updated (to include the Philly and Boston games)

And, as stated, I'm including all games where the score was within 5 points at any point under 5 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

So, I'm not just showing Lebron's good clutch games...it just looks that way, because he's been good in almost all of them :oldlol: .

If you combine the stats of Wade, Ray, and Battier, then yeah, it might look better.

But, even then, even the three of them combined did not hit three game winners over these 8 close games.

So, Lebron's fourth quarters might look even more impressive than the three of them combined.

Interesting. Thanks for bringing that up.
