You can expect someone to get caught but we haven't heard of any NBA stars getting linked to things like BALCo. I have some hope that this won't get like the MLB's scandal.

they accept to do tests that cannot detect the drugs they have in their bodies, they accept to warn everyone when they re going to occur and obviously all docs know how to go thru them, basically, a vast joke, but it will reassure the average fan after the lance armstrong scandal. Still all of them are on ped, just like in any pro sport. That's the way it works. Stern, everyone in the nba know they re all on ped and they all do their best to act as if they werent. Enough of the hypocrisy, only the average joe who has no clue about drugs or the kid, teen, will buy into it so will soccer moms. Still, they re all on ped, and it's only a PR move to hide the truth.

None of them would play, move, the way they do without peds. And fans are hypocrits as they pay to see impressive dudes going at each others, to wear their jerseys, identify with them and so on. The hypocritical animal kingdom of men.

dont be stupid, stern and everyone knows about their ped use, they ll keep using they wont be endangered the least, keep in mind it s their drug use that allow them to impress physically millions of people who will pour their money into stern and his friends pockets. People leading the nba would shoot themselves in the feet if they ever prevented their muppets, excuse me "athlets" to use what allows them to bring the show everynight.

Lebron and Wade will be taking their talents to Mexico. Or do they test for HGH down there too?

And meanwhile, Bosh in his doctor's office: "Is estrogen considered a HGH? Should I be concerned?"

Lebron had a great run while it lasted. He'll probably retire to "spend more time with his family".

I'm kidding, calm down.

If its at all as loose as the ped testing for the MLB and nfl, it's really not going to matter.

Here's hoping the nba is actually trying to serve a purpose in testing.

The Olympics is once every 4 years, meaning they can cycle on for more than 3 and a half years, and then cycle off. Once the Olympics is over repeat. Not much of an obstacle.

Btw Lebron didn't juice. He's just a freak of nature, juicing does not give him all the attributes he has.

Go looks at Dwight, he juiced. He went through a Bonds like transformation.

Wade probably juiced as well if I had to guess

How do you determine Bron didnt juice and Wade did?

How do you determine Bron didnt juice and Wade did?

By a very precise objective measurement:

He starts by asking himself whether or not he likes a player.

From this, he can deduce whether or not a player has juiced or not.

For example, since he likes Lebron and does not like Wade, he has concluded Lebron clearly has not ever juiced and Wade most definitely has.

This is the ISH scientific method.

I haven't read anything about it. But is Stern putting this in now because he's retiring? In other words set the NBA for hard times, but not when he's in power, get no blame.

andremiller07

Won't be enforced unless its on a no name which does little to impact the NBA. No company would be idiotic enough to take out there top employee's that bring them in the most money/marketing.

On top of that now they everyone knows HGH will be tested for they will just move to blood doping or something similar that can't be tested for. Sports without PED's are not as good to watch people want to see amazing athletic feats which can only be gained through PEDs.

This is bad for the league. HGH helps prevent injuries and helps players return from injuries faster.
The league made it from an east-coast-only 8 team dance-hall and barn-storming league where players had off season jobs and barely could afford traveling by bus location to location in the 1940's to a 30 team globalized powerhouse producing and profiting from icons like Magic/Bird/MJ in the 1980's all without HGH. Now, 30 years later players are abusing illegally obtained substances to try and get an 'edge' on their competition. NOT banning PED's is what will be 'bad' for the league. As a society we should not tolerate the use of cheats and shortcuts by the people we push as the heroes and role models for our children.
