I need to think of a clever way to allow all Raptor/Lakerfans to vote, but also so they can't work like clockwork like they do in the elimination threads.



possibly the best way is to simply give each team at most only 2 members... but for teams who have multiple "marquee posters," I guess you'll have to choose a secondary team in that case to fill in the blanks, as there are many openings in several other teams.

Tell me about it. It sucks. But I just can't get into it. It's like last season was the season I was FULL ON about ball, and that one ended so badly that it's tough for me to get up for this one. It's like the guy who was a badass, knocking out everyone, then he himself gets knocked out in the biggest fight of his career, then never ever again looks the way he did pre knockout.

I thought I would come around eventually, but it's almost all-star break and I still have no grasp on who's doing great, and who isn't.

Don doesn't care if he isn't in this since he doesn't have a team to represent. But would like to say, thats why in the All-Star voting only the starters and voted and the rest are picked. If votes were all that counted then you would have pretty screwed up all-star teams. But Don guesses this is just a little different. Though having it go up to March 7 is a long time. There are 9 HOFs right now. I say lets make it an even 10 and then lock it. Heres how we will choose


We are going to have 3 groups of 6.
Vote for the best in that group. And after like 2 weeks, there will be 3 winners. Then we'll talk about which one gets in to HOF.

So 1st you vote for top 3 candidates, and then we'll talk about who should actually should get in. That sounds fair because:

1. Its not just like voting only gets you into HOF
2. And this way, voting and reasoning gets you to HOF







Voting wil start either today or tomm. Remember, the winners of each group then gets debated on who gets to go the HOF. That way, voting and reasoning determines HOF entrance.

I'm from pakistan, so I guess I'm expected to vote for middle eastern.

But just since I'm in a bad mood, I guess I'll point out thats like calling a philipino guy chinese, its kinda insulting.

Pakistan, Indian, Gujrat, and the neighboring countries are part of the indian sub-continent. (known as desis, south-east asians, and members of indian sub-continent). Example: Apu from the simpsons

Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, and neighboring countries are part of the middle east. (Known as--duh--middle easterns and jordan and some parts of iran/iraq are known as persians) Example: your average terrorist from tv shows (light skinned, thin beard, thick accent) with a name like a'mad.

Not many people in the us seem to care because theres not that many middle easterners or desis for anyone to care to differentiate but in places like the UK, we actually get our own box under the race section. :D
