I said he was in shape, which he clearly is. Not a superstar. Would I prefer a better point guard? Hell yeah, but considering the mess our FO has gotten us in with our front court contracts, I'll take Felton for $3 Mill a year.

Also don't trash my franchise, only time Knicks have been 'bad' from was 2002-2004 and 2006-2009. Knicks were also an elite team for most of the 70s, 80s & especially 90s where as your franchise has proven itself completely incompetent at drafting since 84.

If trading Melo gets us younger and better for the next 10 years to come, I'm all for it. However, I think Melo stays a Knick for now and we'll revisit him when his contract his up. Look at the teams that our winning and beating us. They all have youth on their side. If we can get younger and get some financial flexibility again, then we can have a young nucleus of guys here for a few years, and then maybe bring in a veteran to lead them to a championship. The problem with Melo and Amare is that we brought them here with no young nucleus. We really brought Amare here to lure LeBron and then Melo came as a bonus, but at what cost? Felton has been with the knicks for a while so knick fans saw a better felton. he walked into training camp BIG. he was slow and due to his size, his shot was horrible. Play making skills werent anything special. Towards the end of the season when he was near season conditioned, he started doing pretty decent but nothing great. I could careless a bout his conditioning, most players didnt think we would start the season when it did but his decision making was horrible. One thing he did in portland and still does in NY, he'll hold the ball at the top, dribble for a long time, make his move and dribble the ball off his foot. Ive seen it often with the knicks. Andre Miller>Felton. Felton has been way better for Knicks this season, but in portland he was horrible.
