No, they will lose 3 times to my Pacers and beat us in 7.

First time making it. Don't let an internet forum upset you. It's not healthy.

It's nearly impossible to upset. srs.

and if not you, this thread has been made by 2 other individuals. Feel free to make a 4th, though.

I can see them sweeping everyone in the East except the Pacers. I think the Pacers might win 2-3 games.

You're imagination. Because it's all just a ****ing dream.

They got a shot IMO. I don;t see any team in the East really challenging them what so ever. All about match ups.

Doubt it goes to three. Only went to 6 games last season with no Bosh, Wade hurt, and the bench players playing like trash. I can see Indy taking maybe one. But thats a huge, huge maybe. The East is one big sacrificial lamb after Miami.

You no OP....remember this. How many times has a LeBron James team had great regular season only to come short in the playoffs?

Don't jump the shark is my point. Take things one game at a time one series at a time.

Celtics are not getting swept. 4-1 maybe, a sweep no way. Same goes for the Pacers as well...

Thankfully the Heat didn't trade Wade/Bosh for Mo Williams/Shaq.

I think Boston will make another deep run. But its going to be a sweep against Miami. Especially with no Rondo who always goes apes.hit against the Heat. It honestly might get ugly.

We've never swept a team in the playoffs. I doubt it. I'll take in 5 games.

They will most definitely get some sweeps in this postseason. This is by far the most focused the team has looked in their 3 seasons playing together.

I'll give you that, Rondo is a game changer every time they play the Heat and they're gonna miss him.

Having said that, I think you're underestimating this team's mental toughness. Mentally weak teams are the ones getting swept and Celtics are the exact opposite. It might be Garnett and Pierce's last dance, they aren't going down getting swept, this just cannot happen. Please remind me the last mentally tough team who got swept.

Also, I think that you're underrating the Celtics team as a whole. They have good defenders to put on Wade (Bradley) and LeBron (Jeff Green). Now don't get me wrong, I ain't saying Bradley and Green are gonna shut LeBron and Wade down, but they have as much of a chance as anyone to make them a lil uncomfortable, especially if you pair them with KG defensive leadership.

Bottom line is, Heat are on another level right now, but a sweep is not another 4-game winning streak in regular season. To sweep the Celtics, as crippled as they might be, you have to play great basketball for 4 games straight... especially for those 2 games at the Garden.

Doubt they sweep the full playoff's...right now they are playing a schedule with really good to really bad teams, much easier to go on streak when the competition isn't as challenging on a nighlty basis (even tho the weaker teams give Miami hell :confusedshrug: )

If they do make a run tho, it would be only in the first maybe (big maybe) second round. conference finals and finals will surely have a loss for the least.

I'm willing to guarantee that this Miami team will not sweep the playoffs. IMO the best they could do would be 16-2, which would be amazing never the less. If Wade was playing like 2009 Wade, then they would sweep.

No but I dont see any team winning more than 1 gm either in a series until finals maybe.

Well considering all their competition has suffered major injuries and the play in the Leastern conference, yup they'd probably still lose a game or 2.

The Heat have the easiest path to the finals that I've seen in a long time. I couldn't give a shit if they sweep or not but it's not an easy thing to do. Players have off nights, the other teams get hot, injuries happen. Even your fellow d!ckriders aren't predicting a sweep.

Absolutely no chance it goes past 5 games. I wouldn't be shocked if they got upset by the 7th seed.

I was really on board with the idea of Miami having a tough time coming out of the East, but with Rondo, Rose, Melo and now Amare being hurt... Indy's the only team that really has a shot of pushing them.

I'd say something like this:

Miami in 5 over Milwaukee
Miami in 4 over Brooklyn
Miami in 6 over Indy

Really not sure why Miami is the best team in the league defending champs and plays in what everyone calls a weak conf.

Kurosawa0

in what everyone calls a weak conf.

Because Denver, maybe the 4th or 5th best team in the West, would probably be the second best team in the East.

Meh I think the Pacers are Memphis East and would give any top team in the West a tough series.

Well it looks like they'll sweep the Bucks. I think the Bulls could at least take one if they meet.

Now if it's the Knicks that meet Miami I can see us winning two games at least. We've shown we can hang but Miami has shown they can turn it up a notch. However we don't turn the ball over much so I would see the series at times a grind it out half court battle.

Pacers. I was never sold on them but I think they could do the same and win at least two but their lack of scoring will doom them.

The West. Whoever comes out their is at least one or two losses. My darkhorse is the Clippers.

I got Bulls taking 1, Pacers 3 and then OKC 2. So 5 losses? Not too shabby.
