We are forgetting the B'BALL FUNDAMENTALS btw the hatred & Homing of a player or franchise.

It was a horrendrous shot to begin with.

3 things are happening here:

-Kobe FADING BEHIND the backboard. :facepalm

-He is aiming wide towards his LEFT to avoid hitting backboard.

-In doing so, he SUCCESSFULLY AVOIDED hitting the backboard BUT You'll miss the SWISH (nothing but net) but hoping it will fall as it lands on the rim but it just will NEVER happen when FADING AWAY.

only high arcing spot up jump shot from BEHIND THE BACKBOARD has a chance of falling in WITHOUT ANY FADE shot from completely STILL position.

Just a reminder to us all. It may look cool but will NEVER fall in.

Laws of Physics!

Not only is he not behind the backboard (not completely anyways), he has hit countless shots from that angle in his career. He's hit tons from there this season alone. ****, even in 2013.

You've never picked up a basketball, have you? Rhetorical, don't answer unless you want to make more of a fool of yourself.

Nice try sneaking that one in.

The point of release is clearly well BEHIND THE BACKBOARD.

I cannot draw straight line.

Like I said, I've mentioned he AIMED LEFT to avoid hitting backboard.

Go look at where the shot ended up on the rim.

It was NEVER gonna be SWISH. ZERO CHANCE. UNLESS HE SHOOTS IT OVER THE BACKBOARD, a real high arc'er.

Laws a Physics!

but we all know Nikkkkaas cannot study science & math.

I understand. :coleman:

exactly my point.

Kobe aint really FADING here with foot in the air.

Plus. Shot has EXTRA HIGH ARC. In other words, He avoided the backboard completely.

NOT aiming Left of the rim or right of the rim.

Actually, He supported my argument.

check my following post.

Kobe AINT Fading cuz he is barely 3 inches in the air.

But in the picture, He is FORCED to aim to his LEFT to avoid hitting backboard.

watch the whole shot. The ball lands on the front of the rim completely missing the Cylinder.

I never said that.

I said that He got into a WORSE POSITION to shoot that fade away which is FAR BEHIND THE BACKBOARD & still FADING!

He did a good job AVOIDING THE BACKBOARD.

BUT

also MISSED THE CYLINDER which was guaranteed as he AIMED LEFT.

I'm not telling Kobe anything. HE CAN TAKE A HALF COURT SHOT FOR ALL I CARE!

A simple fadeaway, a faaaaaking LINE DRIVE with just enough ARC that kobe shot. :facepalm :facepalm

Hakeem Olajuwon made a living out of that very shot:

The turnaround fallaway/fadeaway shot on the left block that actually took him out of bounds.

The most unstoppable and unguardable shot of the 90s.

1st video. now thats a proper baseline fadeaway!

2nd video. Just behind the backboard BUT just look at the RANGE, DISTANCE from the basket. thus SLIGHLY behind the backboard is COMPLETELY NEGATED

now compare 2nd video to where Kobe shot the Atlanta fade away from.

Its a faaking MID-RANGE MJ baseline fadeaway & Kobe is CLEARLY BEHIND THE BASKET hence aimed LEFT.

Its NOT a LONG RANGE DISTANCE fadeaway.

against thanks for proving my point.

Hakeem NEVER EVER faded as much as Kobe.

Even Ewing had FALL away. Hakeem FADED back.

he did not FADE AWAY like MJ does, who covered like 2 feet backwards.

Kobe covers about 1/2 foot to 1 foot. Thats a TRUE FADE.

& you'll miss it GUARANTEED from mid-range behind the basket if aint a HIGH ARChing prayer.

He is well behind the backboard.

Look at the picture at the point of release!

nice diagram btw.

I'm not a computer guy

BUT

nice job making the handle connecting backboard & rim longer

& also making "POINT OF RELEASE" from Longer range than Kobe shot from.

Kobe took a MID-RANGE well behind the back board shot.

I just watched it again...

Kobe took off from in front of the backboard plane, but he was going so fast towards the baseline that he probably crossed the plane as he was in the air.

But he had to go so fast to get away from Damon Jones who played some pretty good D there.

It's a draft that took me 60 sec. If I'm serious about crushing you, I can use CAD to create a detailed pic with accurate dimensions. But I don't have the time nor the interest.

Like I said Nice try.

props to you for creating that in 60 sec.

& whats with the lines continuing to the cylinder. It is clearly touching intersecting the corner of the backboard btw thus making my point.

so TRY AIMING LITTLE LEFT & MISS THE CYLINDER LIKE KOBE.

Exactly my point.

He took off at the plane of the back board.

But Kobe is not a quick shooter.

The point of release for a MID-RANGE shot here after FADE was completed w towards BASELINE is 1/2 foot behind the Backboard.

From the MID-RANGE!!

that shot has ZERO chance of Falling in.

Its just a BAD BAD shot.

I bet you never played basketball in your life.

Not ever basket goes in "nothing but the net"

Most shots touches the iron and rolls into the rim, a.k.a shooters' roll

It's because when people shoot, by people I mean normal people who actually play the game not someone like you who post for a living, they spin the ball.

Brah!

enough of this non-sense

Just take a close look at the diagram you drew in 60 secs.

You are clearly hitting the corner of the backboard with that upper parallel line despite shooting from JUST BEHIND THE BACKBOARD from LONGER RANGE.

Point of release for Kobe fadeaway was 1/2 a foot behind the backboard & from MID-RANGE which your Diagram dont have.

Nice try.

Just try fixing the upper parallel line running into the backboard first.

Oh as for why I didn't like inFAMOUS 2 here's a more in depth response.

I didn't like how you had to step away from combat for a few minutes to heal. That really slowed it down, and made it tiresome. Specifically if you were being attacked by huge groups. And it felt kind of repetitive compared to the first which had a solid pace, and a couple twists and turns. And more replay value I think.

thx for reminding me, I wanted to check it out when it first came out but totally forgot about it. I don't think I was in my TV show watching mode for awhile.
No problem, dude. It's really worth it. One of my favorites, for sure.

What are some your favorite shows?

Unless you just want us to spew out random shit. Because if that's the case, why not some classic 80 sitcoms like Charles in Charge?

Dexter(not as good as pre season 4 but still want to complete it)
breaking bad
Fringe
Spartacus

Don't you ever get tired of creating bullshit threads trying to discredit Kobe Bryant? Are you that insecure about your favorite player? Seriously, this peice of s**t should be banned.

I can agree with that. The 2nd game definitely had it's fair share of throwing mobs at you. I liked the boss fights a little more. They just felt a little more epic: Going up against giant monsters and all.
