Clips by a dozen.

Clutch
03-17-2013, 05:51 AM
Clippers by 5. But we're going to beat Utah by 7.

How do I know that ? It's simple. MATH.

vs Warriors -lost by 29
vs Nuggets - lost by 23
vs Blazers - lost by 15

You have an array: -29,-23,-15...

Use your logic. What will the next number be ? That's right,it's -5. So the Knicks will lose by 5.

Now we have -29,-23,-15,-5...

What will the next number be ? It's -5 + (10+2) = +7.
So the Knicks will beat Utah by 7.

After tonight the Nets will have the division lead and be one game within the Pacers for the second seed in the East. A very impressive job for a team in its first year together.

Magic saying the Knicks' current struggles could get Woodson canned is unfair. They've been without their three best players. If your offense is going to be based on JR Smith you aren't going to be any good. No coach is winning with the healthy portion of the roster.

Then you look at stats and see that he's shooting like 40% for three and people who don't watch the Knicks think he had a nice season. NO. He's been shooting badly whenever the Knicks need it. He only shoots well when the Knicks are either up by 15+ or down by 15+.

They were just two wins away in 10/11, a year they were still learning to play together so had a rough start. As for last year, you may recall that it was a little short.

I love him but you're absolutely right. Smith was like this last year, tho he does more. Novak is hitting the shots when the pressure is off. He's got to play MUCH better. And, honestly, 40% isn't enough for him. He needs to shoot better than that.

They weren't on pace tho...but you said any team with him is guaranteed to win 60. In the East, with Wade playing great, they didn't win 60...and last year, they weren't on pace. So I don't think he's an automatic 60wins.

just the regular season

That train of thought is reserved for teams that are known to hit the light switch on once the post-season begins.

An organization that isn't known for that characteristic - who hasn't escaped the first round in 10+ years - isn't afforded that safety net.

I will say that this game was trivial though, Knicks aren't beating anyone without Melo or Chandler. Gonna suck though, because after being as close as a couple of games for the #1 seed 6 weeks ago, the Knicks very well may end up a 4th or even 5th seed.
