I'm not a Heat fan but I don't understand what you mean when you say "taking a throne that was never properly earned". That's like them telling you that you didn't earn Derrick Rose, you had barely any chance getting the number 1 pick yet you got it.

The Heat paid for all their players. They all chose to go there. There were no death threats from the organization. They didn't go into Cleveland's and Toronto's offices late at night and burn the players' contracts.

Players chose to go there. Free agents leave their teams all the time. It's not guaranteed to work... It worked for Boston, and epically failed for the Lakers.

I agree that Miami doesn't have the nicest fans in the world but surely you can't say that they don't deserve the throne if they do win it all again.
