One of the best, he was a true killer! He was too real...to the point where he wasn't getting work b/c of it, would clown on Hollywood execs to their faces.

Imagine if he got into it with someone like Kevin Hart, RIP.

He used to have a show on VH1 in the mid-00's call Web Junk 20. It was a Top 20 countdown of the week's funniest internet clips, kind of a pioneer to Tosh.O, only I found Patrice O'Neal to be a much more suitable host. Very enjoyable.

Him and Hart were close friends so I doubt it. O'Neal used to take Heart on the road with him in his early years.

I'm a huge Opie and Anthony fan, so I had a long period to fall for Patrice. Truthfully a lot of his stand up was hit or miss for me. But on OnA he was incredible. That's live conversation, so the wits have to be quick, and he was as quick as anyone. And his frankness allowed them to have such raw conversations on the reality of topics like race all the time that felt genuine where nothing was off limits.

The show has suffered without him over the last year or so. But it also lost Greg Geraldo before that, and other guys they just don't hear from as much, like Nik Dipaulo, who was on yesterday for the first time in a while. The best part about that show are those segments that are filled with NYC comics just sort of freelancing on topics under a good monitor. But those pieces are becoming fewer and further between.

Loved him on the O&A show. Jim Norton was always kind of hit or miss for me so I loved when Patrice came on the show.
