I feel like the flying on the carpet is just a metaphor about sex. It's not like every song i hear and think this, it just seemed so clear all of a sudden, flying, thrilling, new horizons. Just sounded like it.

Idk but Pocahontas is a surprisingly harsh criticism of the Eurocentric view of the exploration of the Virginia area.

I mean it has it's love story and all, but the main theme really isn't the relationship at all which is unusual in a Princess Disney movie. The main theme is the Eurocentrism involved in the view of "savage" peoples. As a history guy I was like: "Holy shit they present the Indians as civilized, capable, and a possible asset to the explorers (mercenaries really)." There were of course still some of they myths of the whole deal but damn, fairly bold, and kudos to Disney for this one.

This is trollz, but it brings up an interesting point about words that sound like other words and how they affect us.

I don't know if that is about sex... could be drugs. It is ambiguous. I'm very into subliminal messages and symbols, but I don't see anything outright about that particular song. I really feel like "nude" world has more merit.. haha.

But yea, it's funny all of that shit on youtube about subliminal messages, sex and death... etc. I definitely feel it's real and I feel it's not just them messing around, but sex is everywhere... much more serious innuendo. Prime time commercials blow that shit out of the water.

I don't think something subliminal can affect someone who is not able to think about it. Like the word SEX... means nothing to people or seems like some mysterious thing until we are a certain age. I know it took me a long ass time to figure out what sex was all about. I never knew people busted nuts due to stimulation. I thought people just randomly busted them. I was like MAN must be a crazy chance for people to have sex and actually get pregnant.
