it should have been a flagrant when it first happened but really NBA making these calls days later only makes it just worse. THey shouldnt even make it public. just let the teams and players know.

Another picture showing that the refs always screw this Heat team.
Why is Durant showing up in this picture? He shouldnt be in it. He should have been fouled out after he charged Battier. Damn refs.:facepalm

The upgrade on Gibson to a Flagrant 1 was on a first-quarter foul, not the late neck wrap-a-round that was ruled and remains a common foul.

:oldlol: Hysterical that the haters are complaining about that non-call on Durant. Lebron would average 15 FTA per game if he got those kind of calls. 95% of his drives have more egregious contact than that.

I actually think is fair.

How this being a flagrant foul is relevant in the grand scheme of the game tho...bitches will reach.

Do people realize how well LeBron played during that game? You can say all you want about how he would be in the 80's looking at this game...he actually played very well..

The reason he complained was because the call severity had an obvious disparity. It's entirely possible had these calls that they are now changing after the game could have lead to a Heat win if they were called right during the ****ing game.

It was NOT a flagrant foul. Stop acting like the Heat are targeted and always on the wrong end of calls. They are not. So annoying to see Heat fans act like little b1tches whenever they oppose one call. Seriously watch a small market team like Orlando constantly get the wrong end.

I thought Gibsons foul was fine. I thought Hinrich's was a flagrant, because he made no attempt on the ball.

B-b-b-but Lebron whined... he wouldnt last a day in the 80s.... Did you know that Lebron was actually great in that game or in any game players were that or even more physical with him? No matter how physical they were on Lebron he was getting his.... all he wants (and you would to) is for the reffs to do their job on at least one of the no-call potential flagrants.... he doesnt give a damn about the physicality, as long as the opponent has to pay for it... sometimes...

If they made that call correct it could have changed the game entirely.... points from FT and the possession of the ball with oppurtunity to score another 2-3 points immediately.... thats up to 4-5 points wasted on that no-call.... next thing you know the Heat have tied or won the game by 1 point... 102-101... instead of losed 97-101...

I am a 80s/90s child, i loved the physicality.... but the officiating was excellent aswell.... they had no TV to depend on to rewind and make the correct call, they had to instead actually really focus and pay attention to everything all the time...

People ignore the part about Lebron playing well, that doesn't fit their agenda at all.

Let's go back and take away that bs continuation and 1 for Chris Bosh at the end of that game then? Or are we only going to change the game in favor of Miami?

But yes Lebron played very well.

Ether. But don't let facts get in the way of ignorance.

That was obvious flagrant but i dont think it would have changed the outcome of the game.

Gibson made no play on the ball whatsoever.Gibson in 4th quarter and hinrich in 1st quarter were just regular fouls.

IMHO, it deserved to be called a Flagrant 1, but it is a day (or three days) late and a dollar short to be of benefit to them winning that game. That part can not be undone, but it seems to me to have been called after the fact to keep track of the accumulation of this type of fouls. It's not like they can replay the end of the game, so it is what it is.

The fact that this loss ended their chance at breaking the 33 game win streak, makes it especially unfortunate, though it's unlikely that is the sole reason they lost the game. Over the long term, good calls and bad calls, and the impact they have on the outcome of games, tends to even out over time.

May sound ridiculous, but this is a sign that the league won't let that kinda style fly in a series.
