I just got done watching it( yes, I know I'm late). Claire and Francis marriage is by far the best parts in the show. It's not like your typical tv series marriage. I don't understand Claire's motives, though. Their backs must be hurting, they carry the show by themselves.
Thoughts on House of Cards?

My bad, you meant portrayal of their marriage.....I thought two characters getting married was a plot point. I started watching it and quit about 6 episodes it and obviously didn't remember their names.
I just didn't believe it knew what it was talking about. The appeal of the show is to give this behind the scenes look at Washington and those parts just felt made up.
Obama's nowhere near my god, but go ahead and take your joy where you can find it.

I haven't seen it, but am considering...I'm not into politics much though so idk if it'd be my type. Love Spacey though.

It's good. Spacey is amazing in it. But a lot of it is far fetched (or it seems far fetched) and if anything it leaves me feeling angry.
I think Orange Is The New Black is the better Netflix original series.

That's not the appeal at all. The appeal is viewing the rise of a political couple. The lengths they will go to to attain and keep power. Also, about what they will compromise in order to attain their goals. The government is just a really in depth backdrop to the main story focus.

You don't need to love politics. You'll like it regardless.

I'm curious, what did you find to be far fetched?
