Jazz (39-36) remaining Schedule (and prediction):

vs Denver (L) CHECK
vs New Orleans (W) CHECK
@ Golden State (L) WRONG! (W)
vs OKC (L) CHECK
vs Minny (W) CHECK
@ Minny (L)
@ Memphis (L)

If OKC or Memphis rests their guys, those could be wins, but I see the rest holding steady.

2-5, for a final record of 41-41 (New projected total: 42-40)

Lakers (38-36) remaining schedule:

vs Dallas (W) CHECK
vs Memphis (W) CHECK
@ Clippers (L) CHECK
vs New Orleans (W) CHECK
@ Portland (L) WRONG! (W)
vs Golden State (W) CHECK
vs San Antonio (W) CHECK
vs Houston (L)

I predict San Antonio is going to be resting everyone. Memphis could go either way but I think the rest hold firm.

5-3, final record of 43-39 REVISED record: 44-38

Dallas (36-37) remaining schedule:

@ Lakers (L) CHECK
@ Denver (L) CHECK
@ Sacramento (W) CHECK
@ Portland (W) CHECK
vs Phoenix (W) WRONG
vs Denver (W) CHECK
@ New Orleans (W) CHECK
vs Memphis (L)
vs New Orleans (W)

I'm thinking they lose at Portland but gave them the benefit of the doubt. The home game vs Denver could go either way but Denver is bad on the road.

6-3, for a total of 42-40, Hey at least they got to shave their beards. (REVISED: 41-41)

Lakers 8th, Dallas 9th, Utah 10th.

Utah owns the breaker over both teams. So, in that case Utah wins and nobody cares who is 9th and 10th (except maybe Phoenix :oldlol: ).

without fail, they will always manipulate the results so that the team they like wins by exactly 1 game. every single time.

I did not do that at all.

I looked at each game as I went down that team's list and recorded my prediction. I didn't add it up before hand or anything of the sort.

In fact, I'm surprised Dallas got as far up as they did in my prediction, as I did their list last. They have the easiest schedule left via win/loss record too, so that adds up in my mind.

Why are you so stupid?

Look at the schedules. The Jazz are 4-7 against the Warriors, Nuggets, Grizzlies, and Thunder this year so far, and they only get two of them at home. I don't think I did their predictions a great injustice.

The Lakers schedule really isn't that tough and neither is the Mavericks. So what games do you think I predicted incorrectly then? Why not show your game by game descriptions so we can have a discussion instead of spouting inane platitudes.

Christ, no wonder this forum has gone to shit. :facepalm

I would have certainly got a lot wrong, because they lost games against shit teams that most people would have predicted them to win.

So, again, which games do you think they will lose that I picked them to win then, you idiot? Or are you just going to post another "LOLOLO HOMER!" post like an ignoramus?

LA vs. Dal, i think Dal can win that game
they seem to be playing better than the Lakers as of late

also just because SAS is resting people doesn't mean it is an automatic win. The Spurs have beaten solid teams without their best players but the game means more for LAL.

Uta @ Minny, I know the Jazz aren't great on the road but I'll be surprised if they lost that game.

And I think Dal has at least one hick up in the 4 game winning streak you have them going on.

Mavs win out and move into the 7th spot swelling with confidence and take down the Thunder in the 2 spot on their way to a miracle run to another title for Dirk who rises up to the heavens as the final buzzer sounds and he sends 40 virgins from heaven to my room and then I wake up and it was just a dream - a dream almost as good as their '11 run to the title.

Of course it is, but it's also not completely absurd to say the Lakers seem to get a lot of calls.

Hell, we saw it in the last Mavericks game. Mavs were up 3 and Dirk clearly got hit on his shot by Artest. Not only is that a huge play, but it led to a technical.

Then a few plays later that make a soft call on Mayo for a shooting foul against Kobe...which leads to another technical.

Conspiracy? Nah...but I don't see that happen all that often to the Lakers...certainly not in the playoffs.

Y'all do know Utah beat the shit out of OKC the last time they played in Salt Lake City, right?

The critical game was @Portland last week. When we won that, I felt reinvigorated. Then we went on a five game win streak, and now I feel very confident. You all are basing your picks based on how poorly the Jazz were playing in March. And I can get that, especially how badly it was. We were horrible.

They forgot the run they made last year to get the 8th spot. They are playing their best ball. Finally playing Jazz basketball instead of Al ball. Moving the ball. Getting after people defensively. Hayward starting and making plays. Mo getting healthier. Tinsley back in the rotation.

The Spurs don't do things like that. They rest their starters at the end of seasons, every season, without regard to match ups.

You're thinking of Dallas resting starters to play Golden State, and that decision biting them in the ass.

I would agree with that. The Spurs probably do want to play Utah over Los Angeles. I honestly see us getting swept by SA. Lakers might actually win a game or two against SA. So Popovich might not rest his top guys for that one.

I really hope the Jazz get OKC in the first round. We matchup better with them. Our bigs could destroy their bigs at the very least at the chance of winning a game.

OKC is a better match-up for the Jazz but with Manu probably out and Parker hurting they might make it a series? I don't see a sweep again. 3 of the 4 games last year were competitive. When will Al declare the Spurs(or OKC) the next champs during the series is what I wonder?

How long is Manu & Tony out again? I honestly haven't kept up with the Spurs lately.

Parker is dealing with two injuries. Early March had ankle problems and now has sore neck. When he had his ankle injury, he was expected to be out for 4 weeks but came back a week earlier so who knows if that ankle is 100% healed or not.
