"James still leads the field for the season, but he's been resting since the Heat's 27-game win streak came to an end in Chicago last week. And that left the door open, even if it's just temporarily, for Anthony and Durant to move ahead of him in the weekly rankings."

Glad Melo is getting some recognition, even if it's only temporary :applause:

I'd be OK with Melo winning it, Miami would win the East with or without Lebron.

It's a weekly ranking. The final list comes out in a few weeks.

Team MVP, which is something Lebron has to share with Wade.

How mad are you going to be when Miami wins again in June? You and rip are 1A and 1B for most butthurt posters on ISH.

If they win in the finals the same way they did last year, who else could I congratulate? Miller, I guess, if he makes 7 3's in the last game again.

He could have played every game and put up career numbers and still not have been close to LeBron. Thats how much better LeBron is than everyone right now.

Its a weekly ranking.... Carmelo very deservingly so is the MVP of the past week, 50 pts, 40 pts, winning aswell... Lebron has been resting...

But in all actuality the race ended long time ago.... and Carmelo may probably not even end up 3rd on the MVP vote results.

lol, I see what you did there... The only thing those 16 extra regular season games would do last year is only give Lebron more triple doubles. :)

If this is a weekly ranking then Lebron shouldn't be on the list because he hasn't played a game this week... We all know he's the MVP but Kobe or Dwight could've made the list for this week.

The Lebron Stan is a very jealous species. We all know lebron is the mvp but no one is allowed to receive any kind of attention but him. Quite sad when the emotional attachment is that strong :lol

It's also hilarious seeing so many guys here so blatantly in love with a player that they get jealous/pissed when you say something negative about them or suggest that they aren't the hands-down greatest, ever. They probably wouldn't even show their girlfriends the same kind of affection.
