I had fun doing this with LeBron awhile back. I thought I'd look back at Kobe.

9. vs. Denver 2009 Game 6: 35 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds 12-20 shooting

8. vs. Houston 2009 Game 2, 40 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists 16-27 shooting

7. vs. Utah 2008 Game 1, 38 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists 8-16 shooting

6. vs. San Antonio 2004 Game 4, 42 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists 15-27 shooting

5. vs. Denver 2008 Game 2: 49 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds 18-27 shooting

4. vs San Antonio 2001 Game 1, 45 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists 19-35 shooting

3. vs Phoenix 2006 Game 5: 50 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists 20-35 shooting

2. vs. Orlando 2009 Game 1: 40 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists 16-34 shooting

1. vs. Sacramento 2001. Game 4: 48 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists 15-29 shooting

What do you guys have?

Game 2 2008 vs Denver: 49-4-10 on 18/27, 5/9 from 3
Game 4 2010 vs Phoenix: 38-7-10 on 15/22, 6/9 from 3

I would put those two in there.

Even though this wasn't one of his greatest playoff games it was fun to watch.
'06 Game 4 First Round vs Suns
He was insanely clutch.

One of the best not mention is game 4 of the 2000 NBA Finals vs the Pacers. Lakers where up in the series 2-1 but the Pacers played well in game 4 and it was close and Shaq fouled out. Don't remember the exact stats but Kobe took over and put the game away with Shaq on the bench in the 4th.
They went up 3-1 then only to get blown out by Indy in game 5.
So that moment sealed the deal in 6 and the Kobe Shaq era dominated for 3 straight!!!

So every time some one says Kobe rode Shaq's coat tails for the first three titles remember Game 4 of the 2000 Finals. (Besides all the WCF series Kobe dominated)

Although Kobe did extremely well that game. Kobe averaged 15 points that series and Shaq averaged 38.

The only WCF he outperformed Shaq was in 01.

09 Game 6 vs Denver should be higher imo

Even the Nuggets players were throwing up their arms as if to say "What the hell are we supposed to do?". Everytime they gave him a sliver of space, he knocked down a shot. Everytime they forced him into horrible shots, he passed them up and found the open man. And when the Nugs cut the deficit back to 8 points or so, he went on a 7-0 run by himself to destroy their hopes. Truly masterful

I think Kobe pretty much made the Spurs his b1tch everytime Lakers meet the Spurs in the playoffs:

2001: W
2002: W
2003: L
2004: W
2008: W

I think he's ahead.

You forgot 1999, where Spurs SWEPT Fakers.

And Stern bailed you out in 2004 and 2008(clear contact on Brent Barry)

Kobe's my favorite player, but there's that one little series that you might have forgotten, during some random season back in the 90's...

so 4-2. Still ahead.

2008: losing in 5 games is getting "bailed" out by the refs? :oldlol:
2004: lame excuse?

It would have been 2-2 if they had called a foul in the Game 4.

And there was more than 0.4 after Tim hit the GOAT shot. Fakers would have run a different play if there was 0.7 or 0.8 left like there shoulda been.

I've only been here for a couple of hours, but you're already the worst Spurs troll I have ever known.

I mean, which reasonable coach wouldn't want .4 seconds shaved off his shot clock, in a late game situation?

Do you realize that Kobe wasn't a developed superstar back then?
What about 2001, when Lakers swept the spurs with kobe averaging 33-7-7-2 on 51%?

Yeah, and the Lakers would've blown the Spurs out if Kobe grabbed some Taco Bell before the game.
