1. Anthony, up from No. 4

2. James, who has been No. 1 three times

3. Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant

4. Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant, who has been No. 1 six times

5. Chicago's Derrick Rose, who has not played this season

6. Brooklyn's Deron Williams

7. Miami's Dwyane Wade

8. Boston's Rajon Rondo

9. Clippers' Chris Paul

10. Clippers' Blake Griffin

The Melo man. :applause:

I would attribute Melos jump to not only his Olympic play but the stellar start that he aided the Knicks in. Really didn't expect to see D. Will at #6. Must be because of the move to Brooklyn.

Carmelo is a man on fire right now fellas. If I were ranking players right now (not including current injuries) I would have Lebron, Durant, Parker, Carmelo.

But with Carmelo I think people outside the Big Apple will be skeptical until he makes it happen in the playoffs.

I absolutely REFUSE to buy these Adidas sponsored jerseys and NBA paraphernalia ... the way they obnoxiously force their hideous three striped logo into very visible parts of the jersey or jacket, or shirt is beyond annoying.

Nike, Champion, they never did this stuff. They let the logo, and NBA names and product speak for itself. It's time for Adidas to be done with this stuff. Give it to a new guy, like Under Armor or something.

Plus, everyone should boycott Adidas for their shoes the past 2 years that have destroyed careers, knees, ligaments, and in a college kid's case altered his entire life by ripping his leg off.

Screw Adidas.

This has obviously a lot to do with the fact that he plays for the knicks. In europe a lot of people have a knicks jersey even though they're not even into basketball. Furthermore a lot more people travel to nyc then to any other place and in manhattan you'll mainly find melo jerseys. (Even I bought one when I was there)

very skewed based on the fact that they take these numbers from the NBA store in New York, which is where melo plays. It makes sense that his jersey would hot in New York:oldlol: Why do you think deron Williams is so high? Remeber when Marbury played for the Knicks how popular his jersey was? If you play in New York, your jersey is going to be popular.

Question for those in the know. When I visit my local discount clothing stores in the Big Apple, I see Knicks jerseys there for cheap. Licensed by the NBA and everything.

When I take my usual trips down to Florida, I see tons of Lebron jerseys at Marshall's or TJ Maxx for sale too and very cheap. Do these count towards these sales as well?

It's A VC3!!!

The Nets were fourth in jersey sales this year as a team. Deron Williams was sixth overall as a player. The Nets were 31st last year. Behind the non-existent Seattle Supersonics. The Nets have truly grabbed the attention of the basketball world. And its only their first year.

The Nets are doing better this year than the Knicks did last year so dont hate, the only reason the NBA approved the move to Brooklyn was because the Knicks have been such an abysmal franchise.
