Too many turnovers for Houston. I don't care how young this team is, they need to stop it with these silly turnovers. Those can't happen in the playoffs.

Terrance Jones! :applause:
love him!

idk why it took so long for him to break the rotation and why he was in the dleague so long. clearly our best PF. and he played better than dmo and greg smith in pre season. never got time to prove himself in the regular season until mchale put him in randomly a couple weeks ago.

I think he's gassed, so he's just tossing his arms up and flailing to get a foul called. Jeremy seems tired too from chasing Dragic around

Lol T Jones is far better than T Rob, T Rob fell out of that rotation quick

The Nuggets are just the worst match-up possible for the Rockets.

Lawson and Gallo are dealing with injuries.Even still. The Nuggets are the Rockets' kryptonite.

They are just like the Rockets.. they play the same style and have young, athletic talent who can run the floor. So they can do everything the Rockets do, but better.

The Rockets haven't beaten them this season.

Pretty much this.

And even with Lawson and Danilo out, Rockets still couldn't put them away. Granted it was the second of back to back in 1 mile high Denver but still...

I rather Houston face Denver instead of OKC/San Antonio. I know Denver won the season series 4-0 but still.

OKC has too much fire power in Durant, Westbrook, and Ibaka. They're too talented. San Antonio is too smart and disciplined. Popovich will find a way to slow down Harden without fouling him. Houston will probably lose either way, but Denver is their safest bet.

Houston's best shot at upsetting anyone in the 1st round is SA.

spurs are overrated every season because of their regular season play but they always fall apart in the postseason.

spurs are the patriots of the nba.

Some on this thread are vouching well for which team the Rockets will face this playoffs.

Rockets are still young and will enjoy this experience as a learning opportunity. Winning is pretty important too but at this point it's hard to say which they match up with best.

SA? old but savvy.

Denver? They got that mile high city where the Rox could get tired sooner than they want.

OKC? too much fire power in Durant and Westbrook.

I don't know...It's almost like pick your poison.

I'd be happy if they push the series to 6 games. An upset would be phenomenal.

9512
04-09-2013, 11:48 PM
I have no idea. I don't even know why the Rockets were 6th in 1995.

If I remember correctly, I think a lot of it had to do with Hakeem being out a few games and also the new team dynamic with Otis Thorpe being gone and adjusting Clyde into the rotation.

I remember the TNT team (except C Webb) didn't predict a positive outcome in the Rockets' postseason chances.

That Rockets run in the 95 playoffs was one of the best underdog runs I have seen since I started watching NBA in 1991, even to this day.

Rudy T (when asked about the Rockets' low chances during the celebration after sweeping Orlando), "Don't ever estimate the heart of a champion!"
