Well to be fair, the injury on Kobe was a foul, in which he had to shoot the free throws or else the opposing coach would choose someone else. LeBron did the same before, forcing himself to shoot left hand free throws.

the worst is wade in a wheelchair with a shoulder injury lolI'll let you in on a secret since you obviously haven't dislocated your shoulder.

Sometimes, if you bend your arm and let it rest on your leg, the pain mostly goes away. If you are standing and letting it dangle, it hurts like hell.

So it does make sense for him to have been in a wheelchair.

This

And I'm still convinced the emotion was just, he was feeling like his arm was jacked up and had terrible thoughts about his career ending, things like that. There's an emotional side to injuries, especially with top level athletes, just look at andre ware's teammates, vs ware's response. I dont think they were in more physical pain than andre ware.

Anyway this thread/that pic is hilarious.

And why I do not want to be attacked for defending LeBron, he made a big 3 after it.

this...

shredding the largest tendon in your body ( especially since it's only your foot and calf muscle) doesn't feel like anything.

I am surprised Kobe was even wincing.....all it was was a ripping in half of a tendon.

Bruising your shoulder or even not getting enough water/electrolytes and having a cramp.....WOW now your talking about major pain!..sometimes it takes over 5 minutes for a leg cramp to go away!

This, most of you have no idea what any of these injuries feel like. Dislocations hurt a lot until they're popped back in and leg cramps in the quads suck a lot, you can't walk for several minutes. If Kobe had only a partial achilles tear and not a full tear, he would have reacted much more dramatically.

Oh so your an expert on the sensations of pain the body feels upon ripping the Achilles Tendon? Hey just curious, could you please tell everyone about how it compares with the sensations of pain while giving birth? - I mean you've got just as much experience with both right?

:coleman:

There have been enough people alive that have had these types of injuries, along with doctors/trainers that know what these injuries do and the symptoms of them for us to know the difference in pain without having to experience them ourselves. It's common sense really. :facepalm

Rondo

They exaggerated their pain so they could come back and be the hero which is ultimately what happened. Kobe was genuinely done. No benefit in acting like it's worse than it is.

It was extremely painful while standing and letting it dangle, and the only way I could get relief was if I was sitting down and letting my arm rest on my lap.

So I don't find it odd or "pvssy" at all that Wade was in a wheel chair.

It's all moot when both Kobe and Lebron have been **** ironmen for their entire careers. Lebron has never played less than 75 games in a season (aside from last years lockout shortened season of course), and Kobe has played through it all and then some.

Pierce part is funny, but leg cramps hurt like hell (they are honestly the most painful injury I've ever had and I've broken toes, broken my thumb, severe ankle sprains, severe back injury) so I can understand if LeBron physically couldn't walk. Your leg will lock up on you if the cramps are bad enough.

Also, regarding Wade's injury, my dad had the same injury in an inline skating accident. He was screaming for two hours because they couldn't give him morphine. It was the most pain I've ever seen anyone in.

You can't knock someone's injury unless you've also had the exact injury. Or else you don't know what it feels like.

Who here hasn't had a leg cramp before? I badly messed up my hamstring and made the mistake of not icing it. Hammy hurt so much that I took a nap on the floor immediately when I got home that ****er cramped up.

And I can say a bad tooth ache still hurts more than that. Wheel chair not needed.

Admit I haven't dislocated my shoulder, but I most certainly have had leg cramps and didn't need to be carried away. :oldlol: I stood still for a bit and then walked til it went back to normal.

Most professional athletes (kobe not included) are pre-Madonna pvssys. That's a fact and you're a tard if you think otherwise.

I mean fhck, Wade had a temper tantrum mid game because he didn't get a call. He's a professional athlete for gods sake.

Come on, all you have to do is look it up, or watch Kobe's interview. When you rapture it, you don't feel it, because it's numb. I don't need to snap mines, I could just listen to what Kobe said.

I've had muscle cramps, they hurt like hell and you can't use the muscle. Luckily it's not as bad as rupturing your Achilles tendon, but it hurts a lot more.
