As an overall player? Hes def in the convo with anyone.

The rings/team achievement stuff IMO is an argument for people too feeble minded to keep up with continuously evolving info, and prefer to have just one simplistic and stripped down way of understanding something complex.

Its basically a tool for mentally lazy people to give an opinion.

So he hasn't seen anyone better since 1983??? When did he start watching basketball? Was he just paying attention to bench warmers up until LeBron got drafted?

And who was the "better player" in 1983? Obviously, plenty up there, but who exactly amazed him then before LeBron showed up 20 years later?

Man, I'm surprised this man hasn't drowned in LeBron James' semen yet.

Just watch some ESPN highlights. Some guys will get a posterizing dunk vs the Heat with no mention but they'll spend a few minutes breaking down a fastbreak dunk by Lebron. It's just typical ESPN. Not to be taken seriously

While I don't agree, one could definitely make a case that 2013 Lebron (so far) is the 2nd best player behind MJ over the last 30 years.

It's not like it's claiming something crazy. You could also make cases for a handful of other guys...and 2013 Lebron might rank out of the top 5 in the last 30 years.

But honestly, the only clear cut better player in that time...in my opinion, is MJ. After that I think it's wide open between guys like Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Shaq, and Duncan

Some of the stuffs he tweeted.

LeBron will be the greatest ever. Up to him.

I basically said LeBron will be the greatest ever. Fact.

20 Years From Now: 1. LeBron; 2. MJ 3. Kobe

LeBron's Final Tally: 7 MVPs, 4 Rings, 2 Scoring Titles, 17-time All Star, 13X NBA 1st Team; 37 NBA records

LeBron will win 7 MVPs. Beyond comprehension.

MJ vs LeBron 1-on-1: LeBron 11, MJ 9

Kobe vs LeBron 1-on-1: LeBron 11, Kobe 10

When MJ and LeBron meet in Heaven. Wish I could be there.

MJ would struggle to guard LeBron. Too big. Too strong.

Lebron is only "in the discussion" with the best current players?
Lmao.

So Lebron, at best, is in the discussion with current Durant and chris Paul?

You wish.

He's on another level than even today's second best player - Durant - and he's certainly in the discussion with Hakeem, bird, and magic.

I dont know what he means exactly, but in the last 30 years Lebron as an actual individual player (nothing to do with accolades) indeed is arguably the greatest player ive seen to lace up a pair of shoes and yes, maybe better than Jordan.............. So many people are in denial about Lebron today its crazy and just love to call you a "Lebron stan" immediately if you think he is that good, you people really need to wake up.... I have been hooked at the TV since 1990 watching as much NBA as possible and i can very comfortably say Lebron is next to only Jordan the greatest individual overall player i ever seen and i contemplate every day if he maybe is greater talent than Jordan was............ Instead of watching only stats or highlights or highlight games from Jordan, try to watch any randomly picked games from his days and compare to any randomly picked games from Lebron today...... you will be surprised what you will see....

Jordan is the greatest player of all time, kids grow up today to see only his highlights or highlight games and assess his individual play from all that, which is way to highly........ compared to Lebron or even KOBE he was actually not as good as you would want to believe..........

They are two different players... Jordan was very unfair his way.... but the physique/athleticism Lebron possess with the overall skills to match (which at that size is unheard of) makes him not only the most unique overall player i ever seen but also the most unfair combination of overall size/athleticism/talent/skill ive seen from any player ever......... Just look at how this translates to the court, just watch one single game from Lebron today, look how he plays for gods sake..... he overwhelms opponents like the certain ways no player ever did, he treats opponents like you would treat your smaller brothers, he ragdolls, overpowers & toys with everybody & he does so from any facit of the game..... he plays/dominates from any position, he guards any position/player, he does literally anything he wants out there....... anything....

I from the last 30 years of basketball can accurately say i have arguably have seen a more dominant individual talent (Jordan) but i have during that time also never seen anybody overall dominate the game the way Lebron does right now....

Magic Johnson agrees with it actually. He has said plenty of times that Lebron is up there with Jordan.
