I lived in Seattle for 15-17 years.

I lived briefly in Houston, TX because my uncle had a business and I helped him for nearly 2 years. I like Houston and may plan to go there for grad school.

I honestly can't support Seattle for letting the Supersonics go to OKC (city leadership). I also dislike Seattle's general pinko, pseudo-fiscal moralist elitist hipster attitude. Google "Seattle Freeze."

I support the Houston Rockets. One of my favorite playoffs of all time was Houston's 95 title run. Clyde joining before trading deadline. beating the Suns after being down 3-1 and beating them in game 7. Sweeping the Magic after being down 15+ points in the first half of game 1.

Hakeem, Clyde, TMac, Harden are all amongst my favorite players to watch.

Born in Miami, but was a military brat, so I grew up in different places. When I got into watching the NBA around 1985, I lived in Maryland. I started off as a fan of Magic's Showtime Lakers. I only knew a few teams back then, but by the time I got into the NBA big time, 1987-88, I discovered this guy in Chicago wearing #23 tearing up the League.

I still liked Magic's Lakers, but MJ's Bulls pulled me away more and more. That's where the sportjames23 tag comes from--James is my last name (no relation to Lebron) and 23 is for MJ. Back in middle school, we made up nicknames for ourselves, so I came up with Sport James. By the time the internet came around, I used sportjames23 for usernames on various sports and video game boards.

Anyway, to this day, I remain a Bulls fan. Not as hardcore as I was during MJ's tenure, but still support my team. I still like the Lakers, and being from Miami (with most of my family still there) I'm partial to the Heat, too.

I hate virtually every person on the team apart from Hinrich, and Butler. And it's been that way for a LONG time.

Watching them post dynasty has been very bothersome. So many dumb roster moves by our IDIOTIC GMs. Breaking up the dynasty a year or two early on top of matters doesn't help.

I was having a good time being a fan when Rose was on the floor, but even now I'm starting to not like him either with all the shit he's pulled this year with his recovery from injury.

Honestly, I don't know why I root for them. I'm a bigger fan of the game than I am of any one team.

Live in Pensacola, FL and I'm a Spurs fan. I was a military kid who lived in San Antonio from 2001-2004, which was the first city I lived in with a pro team of any kind, so I latched on quickly to the Spurs and they remain my favorite sports franchise.

Depends on the year and make-up of the teams, but I also find myself cheering on the Hornets (closest NBA team) and T-Wolves (went to college in MSP and have a lot of friends who are T-Wolve fans).
