Anyone else agree Kevin Harlan is the best NBA Announcer?

This man is making this game between the Heat and Bucks so sound exciting and you would not know the Bucks are losing by double digits if you wasn't looking at the score.

Harlan's energy is like no other announcer and I wish he could do all the games

Kevin Harlan is good at living the game up, making you more hype about exciting plays or shots.

Mike Breen is the 4th quarter man. When it is clutch time, when the game is tight, Mike Breen is like a fan himself and seems like he's anxious by the developements.

And of course, if somebody hits a 3 under 5 minutes, you get the best sound in the playoffs:

So in short, if i could get the first 3 quarters of Harlan and the 4th quarter from Breen... that's be awesome.

The 2010 Finals with Breen, Van Gundy and Mark Jackson are the best commentated series i've heard.

I wish Kevin Calabro would call more games. I remember he did Boston-Philly earlier this year. Underrated announcer that most here probably don't know, but he's good.

Harlan is #1, Breen #2, Ian Eagle #3, not a fan of Marv at all.

TNT's play by play guys are way better than ESPN's, with the exception of Dick Stockton who is atrocious now.

I say Marv Albert because I grew up in the NBA on NBC era, and nostalgia's too big a factor for me to look another way. Huge fan of Harlan and Van Gundy too though.

Interesting to see the varied opinions here. I personally really do not care at all for the way Mike Breen calls the game. And contrary to what others have said here, I actually loathe his "bang" call. I just do not find him very likable on the mic and his unfamiliarity with the intricacies of the game feel transparent at times. He seems a little too quick to throw his announcer, non-analyst opinion out there too.

On the flip side, I am a fan of Kevin Harlan and Marv Albert. I don't feel much of a slant at any point, they feel more likable than Breen, and they seem to have an easy-going nature in terms of in-game conversations and calls. I mean, they can get excited, but Kevin Harlan's likely not going to provide his opinion during questionable plays as if his way is the undoubted truth. Basically, they call what they know they see, nothing more.

I also like Hubie Brown and Mike Fratello. Nothing crazy or over the top, just steady and listenable.

Kevin Harlan is like the energy guy off the bench in the NBA. Everybody loves the energy guy.....like the Birdman. Who doesn't love the Birdman? But the energy guy isn't the best player on your team. And when you take a closer look, or he plays too many minutes, you see his flaws. But he does serve a purpose. I like Kevin Harlan, he can be fun to listen to, but he's an energy guy.
