Well it ain't right but he got the money to take care of them. Those women are set for life. Media takeout isn't a good source either. They always lying about something or somebody.

I couldn't give a crap if he has 10 baby mamas. As long as he's taking care of his kids he's straight. There's deadbeats out there that won't take care of 1 child.

You can't be a good father to 5 kids from 5 women, in fact its hard work to be a good father to one child from one woman.

If true he has acted very foolishly, carelessly and selfishly.

D12 easily has to give up more than half of his total earnings to all these children and their moms. Hes paying for acting like a complete nob.

Not only that a child should grow up with a loving selfless father that lives in the same home and spends quality time with the child daily, where possible.

That's a pretty good way to become un-rich. Might up his shots of resigning with the Lakers though, right? Tough to leave money on the table in that situation.

I can understand having fun and all that, but you'd think after the first one or even second kid he had he'd come to his senses and realize he needs to stop having unprotected sex with these girls. I hate wearing condoms as much as the next guy, but I'd hate having kids or a STD even more.

really? paying for them is pretty far down on actual decent parenting. Time and effort are much more important than $

I remember when Dwight was entering the league his personality was drawing comparisons to David Robinson because of his values. I think the NBA changed him a bit.

Its fun making them, but kids are hella expensive. DHo will find this out when he retires, but the payments don't.

He better prepare for this, unlike what a lot of other athletes have done.

04-23-2013, 06:01 AM
He can have as many kids and baby mommas as he wants. He can feed and support them no problem. However, that would prove to be complicated and problematic in the long run. Gold diggers will milk Howard dry and he might soon end up like Sprewell or Iverson.

He better prepare for this, unlike what a lot of other athletes have done.Truth. I bet a lot of athletes have been able to figure the process out and make it work. But, as we know, a lot of them also don't exactly know how to run the system.

I feel like on the 30 for 30 "Broke", there was quite a few players who all had similar stories - had a number of kids out there and since they were making so much, they were required to throw a lot of that cash out for child support (I feel like one player on the show wondered, "Why you need $30,000 a month for child support?"). Then other players mentioned when their money stopped coming (because most pro careers are lucky to last 10 seasons), the child support bills never changed, so they quickly were unable to meet those demands.

If one of Dwight's baby mama's chased him out of the house with a basketball, then it would be news. /s

Tiger Woods is 100X the star that DHo is, and golf makes a pretense of being a 'gentleman's sport', so the story got huge play.

This.

Child Support =/= taking care of your kids.
Being there for them and helping raise them = taking care of your kids.

Them being rich and set financially somewhat offsets the fact that he's not around much. Of course, this assumes he's paying at least $1 million a year in child support per child.
