Gasol was amazing in the 09 and 10 title runs. He set the bar up real high for us Laker fans, which made it all the more difficult when he dropped off the face of this planet from 11 till now. NBA history shows us that it's impossible to win a title on your own. If Gasol could've kept up his high level play for a few years longer, the Lakers would've been contenders to this day.
