Steph Curry 45% 3-point shooter. Means someone would need to shoot 67.5% on 2's to stay pace with him. He's unbelievable. I'd trust his three shot more than a CJ Watson dunk.

Wow it feels good to be a Dubs fan right now. I'm working internationally right now, and watching my Warriors pull through on playoff morning is such a ....djaNDSANDsnajdknsjknd

He's so awesome. He's amazing. He's insane insane insane.

I do think this playoff performance should put him on or close to the CP3/Parker/Westbrook tier of PG's next season. You know, unless he lays a huge egg against the Spurs next series. But he's been unbelievable this series. And I know it's one playoff series against a bad defensive team, but I think he takes "the leap" next year and averages around 26-7-4 on 47/45/90 shooting.

Such a damn shame that Lee is hurt, GSW could have REALLY scared some teams (They still might). Curry is without a doubt a top 5 PG and my pick for MVP next year IF he stays healthy.

While Irving has a great future, he still needs to improve his game. Curry, when healthy, is a better player in almost all aspects of the game.

If this guy can stay healthy the sky is the limit.

He has high level dribbling and passing skills and then combine that with his exceptional shooting ability? He is unguardable.

This is true. Not all that unexpected being Curry is 25 and Kyrie is 21, but true nonetheless.

If it wasn't obvious during the regular season, it is now. Curry is entering the very elite tier of PGs. Kyrie isn't there yet, as much as people want to put him up there as quickly as possible.

This will be a very important offseason for Irving. Some are beginning to wonder if he has the inner drive to become a truly great player. If he does, he should be incredibly focused on getting better and proving the naysayers wrong.

Considering half of them are 3s. not bad at all. I said he won't be as good as Ray allen but his impact might be greater. I take my word back but still say he isn't breaking the 3 point record allen is setting.

I would point out how the Nuggets play zero defense, thus, I think people are overreacting a little bit, even though he has been great.

But that seems silly given the types of shots he's hitting in this series. I mean he's making pull-up 3's in transitions look like layups. He's been phenomenal, no doubt, but it'll be interesting to see how he does in the 2nd round against a better defensive team.

Since the all-star break Curry has pretty much put up identical numbers to Rose's MVP season but with much better shooting %s.

Live by the 3, die by the 3.

Let's put this in perspective. This season Curry made 272 three pointers (an NBA record mind you) on 600 attempts which amounts to 816 points. A player who takes strictly two point shots would need to take 408 shots on the same number of attempts to reach Curry's point total on three point shots which would mean the player is shooting 68% from the field. By comparison, Tony Parker shoots 67.8% at the rim.

Rubio2Gasol
04-29-2013, 02:22 PM
Nuggets play better defense than the Rockets.

And while there was an inexcusable stretch of Andre Miller guarding him last night - for most of the series he's been picked up full court - and at times been guarded by Iguodala and more frequently by Brewer - who are both above average defenders.

Lawson is not being guarded effectively by Jack at all - and while Bogut is on the court they have no rim protection to stop him from being effective in the paint.

curry doesnt need to drive alot.... he just need 1 screen hell even in fastbreak he has the deadliest 3 ... i remember peja and CP3 ... cp3 handles the ball and peja is trailing and dish out an assist to peja and bottom...

curry is doing it on his own...

Thing is, David lee had a better 1st half of the season than steph did, which was why he was an all-star. Steph has taken over the second half of the season, and has been giving performances like this night in and night out.

Steph is on a complete other level shooting the basketball
