He says he is sorry about how the season ended but he is happy to be apart of the Laker's franchise and he hopes to make it up to the fans. :applause:

Im still upset about tonights game and the way this season ended. Im mad I lost my cool. Im sorry for letting my team and our fans down when they needed me the most. If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year its that I need to be more responsible for my actions and learn to “breathe”! (Maybe I will take up yoga and come back calmer or @charliesheen can help me with my anger management) But despite our tough season, it is an honor being a member of a team with this amazing history & the best fans in the league! I hope I get the chance to make it up to you!” Thank u la.

i we have learned one thing over the past 2 years, its that dwight had the maturity o a 5 year old, and that his word doesnt mean shit.

not until dwight has signed a contract, should anybody be confident of where he will be playing next year.

In all seriousness though, I hope he stays in LA.

He'll have learnt a hell of a lot throughout this season. Whether he'll act differently or play better is another matter, but the only way is up now for both him and the Lakers, surely?

Secretly most Lakers fans will want him to stay. They need a scapegoat, however well or badly the team is playing. I think Pau is much more likely to move on rather than Dwight.

I'd like him to stay. I would hope that he looks to improve his game this offseason and bring in some go to moves and post fundamentals so he stops picking up stupid fouls.... he needs discipline, footwork, mental toughness and confidence.... he can do that, he'll be worth a max contract... especially since his health/athleticism should be back to normal by then.

He's staying.

Money gets the better of everyone and it's as simple as that.

He turned down money to waive the opt out clause to avoid l.a last year

I think he's a perfect fit for the Lakers and hope he stays, for the sake of the franchise.

Then again I am a Laker hater.

lol I hope he stays with the Lakers... they'll be be garbage as long as he's on the team. Cancer. One of the least mature players in all of sports. For someone so big, he sure does have a small brain... my 8 year old nephew is way more mature than him, and that's no exaggeration.

At the post game press conference, Dwight was talking about improving so they could do a lot better next year. Saying similar stuff as his twitter post.

Then the reporter asks if that is hinting that he will be staying in L.A. or if he's reading too much into it.

And Dwight tells him he's reading too much into it.

So right there he stated that he isn't sure where he'll be next year.

Getting the chance to make it up to the team could also mean agreeing to a sign and trade deal to help the Lakers benefit, rather than just walking.

Just saying.

oh the horror

It's also being reported that he will test free agency.

Haven't some of you learned by now that Howard's word means nothing?

I hope he comes back to LA. I hope lakers give him max money. It's been a great year watching the lakers this year.

Read that. It's great. He has disappointed a lot of Laker fans this season, me included but he's had a terrible season to deal with + injuries. He's going to be a beast on defense next season and I HOPE he works on his game, post moves + shooting touch this off-season. Kareem is the best teacher out there, NOT Hakeem. Look at what Kareem did to Bynum - best offensive center in the league before he leg just blew up completely.

He works with Kareem - improvements will be significant. He works with Hakeem - same old shit, just better health and more training. He ain't worth the max atm and signing him to a big fat contract might not be the best for the Lakers but we'll see.

I guess that settles it. If he said he's going to make it up to the fans, it must be true right?

Dwight Howard has zero credibility when it comes to him making promises and stating what he wants to do.

Dwight is going to Houston or Brooklyn.

Well maybe he wants to sign with the Mavs and **** them up from within like Odom, Fisher and George before him. :hammerhead:
