I have no idea why he can't get out there and play 20 minutes. Surely a game 7 is reason enough to play. I love the Bulls team, but as time has gone on, and players are getting injured and sick, I question Rose's sense of responsibility and being there for his teammates when they really need him. Of course, but playing in real games is the only way to get back into form..and even now, he should still be able to help the team..even if that means pushing the ball for 5 minutes and trying to get his shooters some open looks.

Like I said in another thread, I feel like Derrick Rose is trying to skip the process that all basketball players have to go through when they return from an injury (rusty, getting winded easily, less minutes, less stats, a step slow) and I don't respect that (unless he is more injured than what is being put out there).

Also, unless you've been mutilated or have damaged nerves, an injury doesn't really effect your muscle memory. When you heal up you just go out and play exactly the way you did before...muscle memory all stems from your brain.

Except, he does. He is paid by the organization, and the fans pay for the tickets that ultimately pay for the players' salaries.
