Yeah, I'm getting flashbacks to the '09 Magic series where Lebron dominated at a historic level, but was getting blamed for every tiny mistake you can think of. I can't stand Durant with his excessive flopping and phantom calls, but to suggest he's responsible for this loss is ludicrous.

fck outa here, he did not choke. grizz came at him with a double. okc role players have always been shit. ppl are blinded by ibakas blocks. collison and sef are like the only worthy role players. fish too sometimes. but their role players cost them a ring last year, and will prob cost them this series. well besides goatbrook being out.

not I'm worried about.

11/21 shooter FAILED to come to get the ball at the top of the key when MEM is playing terrific D.

Durant knows he's gotta take 3 out of 4 OKC FGA in final 3 especially with Martin completely off.

Durant mentioned he is worried about FG% dropping by shot attempts.

When ball is denied by terrific defense, you come up & get the ball on top.

plain & simple.

I guess you can make a case that Duncan and Shaq are on Kobe's level but I disagree. 5 rings, multiple FMVP's and scoring titles, most skilled player since Bird, most clutch of all time along with Jordan and Bird, and even scored 81 pointes in a game once.

Kobe 5 rings and Lebron 1. Basic math. To put Lebron in that discussion is utterly ridiculous and screams flavor of the month.

What was that whole Tragic Johnson thing?

1984 NBA Finals.... Magic inexplicably dribbled out the clock when Game 2 was tied and the Lakers lost in overtime. He committed a costly turnover that sent Game 4 to overtime and missed two free throws that would've tied the score. Somehow, the Lakers still made it to Game 7...where Johnson lost the ball with just under a minute remaining and sealed a title for the Celtics...

But meh... All players in NBA history had their bad series, including the finals... even Michael Jordan... yes, in Finals... many bad shooting games in Finals with costly turnovers, low productive 4th quarters with "choked" shots which lost Bulls the game... on paper it was hard to see due to his shot jacking nature, MJ would always average 30 ppg no matter how bad he played because he would shoot like hell, he would never stop and facilitate instead or something, thats the huge difference between him and Magic/Lebron/Bird for example.. and something that he has incommon with the likes of Kobe/Carmelo/Iverson..

Why did you copy/paste the Tragic Johnson thing?

Pauk just called MJ Iverson and this is what you pick out of his paragraph?
Well, I was kind of meaning to imply everything after the part I bolded was kind of dumb.

Are you talking about the same MJ who AVERAGED 31 7 & 11 on 56% shooting IN THE 91 FINALS?

The main difference between MJ & Lebron in the finals is that MJ never looked like a deer in the headlights for an ENTIRE finals series while having the 2nd & 4th best player in the Finals on HIS TEAM

0/3 in CLUTCH less than 3 mins left to win situation.

not just that.

Durant's refusal to come for the ball at top of the key against MEM's terrific D.

Requesting refs to bail you out cuz of playing terrific 11/21 FG offense the whole game is a sign of WHINING.

If LBJ choked in game 1, Durant CHOKED down the stretch in Game 2 (HINT: crucial game loosing turnover)

I'm just stating the obvious.

Just like Bron.

As an NBA fan you have to miss Kobe and Jordan.
Because Kobe & Jordan would have won the game with that supporting cast? LOL please shut up.

Pauk just called MJ Iverson and this is what you pick out of his paragraph?

Except Iverson shot like 39-41%..... MJ however was extremly efficient, a perimeter extreme high volume scorer like that averaging up to 54% FG has a green light in the chucking department in my book... just win the game...

I don't need proof to back-up something so stupid. There's like 5 other posters that laughed or called you out because of that post. That's proof enough.

:facepalm

So this is what it was like to be a Cavs fan when they had LeBron.

Durant puts up 36/11/9 on 11/21 FG against the 2nd best defense in the NBA, and he "choked."

Pretty much lol

Bron and KD are both chokers ok, no ones arguing that.

Kobe represents the last of the ultra clutch, cold blooded superstars. It's sad but it's just how the league is now. No use getting upset about it.
