If it's a mental thing then he just needs to get out there and play to prove to himself that he will be ok. If he feels like he's not actually 100% the player he can be and was before the injury and thinks he needs to sit because of his physical condition then he should sit.

But also, if he is to play, it should be if the Bulls were down 3-1 as not to jeopardize anything in this series because they are tied 1-1 right now & yes he probably is better than Teague right now but Rose returning could also have a negative effect as his teammates are used to deferring to him and he isn't ready for that so the offense could suffer with him in the game with his teammates deferring and him trying to do too much right away.

They strung it out to get profits, but it shot themselves in the foot with negative backlash towards Rose.
