pacers are basically like the Bulls but with offensive firepower. If the team doesn't get struck down with injuries, gets fair officiating, they will topple the stacked heat in the next round.

not happening. if the heat get worn out by the bulls and pacers though the spurs or grizzlies will have a great shot to finish them off

If Roy Hibbert and David West outbattle the Boshtrich and Birdman. then maybe.

Heat will mop the floor with them. Once that Heat offense gets rolling, the Pacers would crawl back into their shells.

The Heat were banged up last season and won. What makes you think they're going to beat them this season while they're healthy and with Ray Allen/Chris Andersen? Because they're beating up the Knicks and the Bulls are putting up a fight?

the Pacers were better last year and they failed to beat the Heat without Bosh....the guy u said is a top 15 player.

With all the 3s they take, they better be hot. Live by it. Die by it.

But, I think it's more likely that they continue physically pounding the Heat like the Bulls are, but lose in 6. However, the toll they exact will further soften Miami up, and give the Spurs or Grizzlies a better chance in the Finals.

Pacers can make this a competitive series, but they seem to have mental lapses that cause they to come up short. Its gonna be an interesting series.

Couldn't beat Heat last year while being up 2-1 without Chris Bosh.

But Wade still had some energy left in his body last season, right now hes done.

Lakers won't upset anybody, book it.

Lakers won't make the playoffs next season unless kobe doesn't come back, or re-injure himself before all star break, book it.

Indy lost last season in 6 to a inferior Miami team with Wade on one leg and Bosh out and no Anderson.....they will lose in 4-5 games.

Wade was on one knee. It's a big reason he struggled so much in the postseason last year. Game 3 was horrible. He got surgery in the summer after they won the title. He's far more healthy at this point than he was last year.

If they couldn't beat them last year without Chris Bosh then I highly doubt they'll beat them this year. Although I do believe it won't be easy for the Heat, it might take 6 or maybe 7 games to beat them. I also doubt the Heat will be tired for the Finals, LeBron, Wade, Bosh had like two weeks off before the playoffs began, then had another 10 days off just last week after sweeping the Bucks, they should be fine.

Let's wait for the semi's to finish first, they're far from over. As much as I don't want to see my rival teams win, the Bulls and Knicks deserve more respect.

Heat-Pacers wearing themselves out but Spurs-Grizz won't? That series will go 6, most likely 7.

It could happen if Wade keeps playing like a scrub. But probably not even then.

As OP is so confident, why doesn't he put every dollar he can manage to get and put it on Indiana? Heat would be favorite according to Vegas and OP will make so much money.
Inb4 OP says "I don't gamble".

I want to think that Indiana could give them test becuse of a tough defense & they do have size and length at the right positions but at the same time I feel like LeBron hasn't even tried in these playoffs yet...which is scary. Seems like Wade & LeBron are saving their Super Saiyan skills till they really need it which could be the ECF, but more likely the Finals.

Playing in physical series doesn't soften a team up. Playing in a non physical series does that.

I'd much rather fight, bite, and claw my way through Indiana and Chicago and be ready to play rough and tumble with Memphis...than dance my way past NY and get hit with a sucker punch in the finals.

Again, people fail to mention how the Heat match up with other teams instead of the other way around. How many times have I heard this before? Everyone said they would lose to the Knicks last year. Then the Pacers. Then the Celtics. Then the Thunder.

Probably won't happen, but it's fun to wonder... imagine the ratings for a Spurs-Pacers Finals, for example. How do you sell that to casual fans? The best storyline would be George Hill and Ian Mahinmi against their former team.

How about a Bulls vs Pacers ECF? Could be just as bad as the finals would be because D Rose probably won't be back until 2015. Two grind it out teams going at it? Neither team would average over 70 a game.
