I know there are a million threads on this already but it cannot be stated enough how much ****ing **** this guy sucks. He needs to be amnestied immediately. Collison is miles better than this piece of dog shit. Use extra money to pick up a few guys.

Collison is a decent player. I don't think they play him enough.
Perkins just look lost out there.

Collison is decent. Perkins is pure garbage, what was his stats today...did he even score or grab a rebound? I know he was responsible for 3 To's...LOL ****ing OKC got rid of Harden for this guy? ROFLMAO :biggums:

You think a team that didn't want to pay Harden is going to eat Perkins contract? :facepalm

It's hard to watch TNT.
Makes me wish current Shaq was on the Thunder bench.

Understatement. The guy has no business playing basketball, especially at the professional level. Just downright pathetic piece of garbage. I'm not even a Thunders fan, but I genuinely dislike this guy only being detrimental to his team every second he is on the court.

Here's the crazy thing....he's schedule to make close to 9 million next year.

Amensty Kendrick Perkins and then OKC could go after Zaza Pachulia (although I want him to come back to Atlanta).
Pachulia, Collison, Thabeet is actually solid at the center position for the Thunder.
12 points for Perkins in 5 games.

Kwame Brown should be available as well for minimum.

Not even averaging 3 points per game.

As terrible as it may be, Kwame would have been much better than Perkins. :oldlol:

That is true to some extent, but Perkins was a better player in Boston even though KG made him look better than he was. Perkins was much more mobile in Boston.

17 points a game. He probably gets a raise if anything. He was coming off knee surgery when he signed his current deal. Won't be cheap that's for sure!

West will probably end up staying in Indy at say 3 years, $36 million.
And he is worth it.
Maybe Perkins and a first round pick to Cleveland for a trade exception. Cleveland gets another first round pick to help rebuild their roster, OKC gets a trade exception to go after another big.

Perkins can only destroy 1 team in the league. That's the Lakers.
He struggled against everybody else.

Yes West probably stays. That's what OKC will have to do. I don't see them eating his contract.

Perkins doesn't destroy anyone
He's great if the opposing center is Andrew Bynum. For all 98.9% of the time, he is pig feces personified.
I have never, EVER, seen a starting big so incompetent at all the things he is responsible for....IN ADDITION to hurting the team in other ways, like constant turnovers, missed lay-ups, and hands made of bricks.
The most hilarious part is...the guy goes about shit on the court like he's better than he really is :oldlol:
How many times have we seen Perkins ask for the ball at the free throw line, try to dribble by his defender, give a no look pass, or some other dumb shit that you and I could probably do with ease but a 6'10 player getting paid damn near $10 million a year can't do
I'm not an OKC fan. But watching him have nothing but a negative impact for the Thunder for the last two years is just unbearable. Couple that with the fact that Presti could have amnestied him to keep Harden, or should have never given him that contract in the first place......
Yeah. :facepalm

Doubt OKC wants to eat 9 million... and I doubt anyone bids a substantial amount for his services.

He's much more skinnier now, i guess he also lost his strength. So what exactly is he good at?

He looked never the same after his injury in the playoffs in 2010. He really lost mobility.

Maybe Perkins to Milwaukee for Drew Gooden or Perkins to Orlando for Al Harrington.
Not much of a market for him and his bad contract.
But if the Thunder can sign someone like Kwame Brown or someone like that who can play 18-20 minutes, then Collison plays 20 minutes and then Ibaka plays the rest.

Amnestying Perkins does absolutely nothing for OKC. Doesn't open cap space. Doesn't save them money (well some money, depends who makes an offer).
So basically you just want to amnesty him out of frustration. A bit reactionary, eh?

Kendrick Perkins is a parasite to the Thunder team.
He cost them Jeff Green, and ultimately James Harden.
If OKC had either of those two players, they would still be in the playoffs right now even with Westbrook out.
Hell, amnesty Perkins just for the simple reason of addition by subtraction.
Playing Collison over Perkins (even if it means giving Collison more minutes than he's used to) would result in a better +/- net gain for the Thunder.

Also cost them the draft pick the Celtics used on Fab Melo, who'd probably be as useful as Perkins at the moment, for 1/5th of the cost.

There must honestly be hundreds of 6'10 players that didnt make the NBA sitting at home thinking 'wtf is this shit? I can do what he does'
He is a disgrace to basketball. He really is.

Worst NBA player in history.
hopefully he joins the heat. he can be the starting C and Birdman can still come off the bench. now we'll have two legit tall guys who can defend and rebound and it will be all over for the league... again.

Perkins pretty much serves one purpose and one purpose only. To guard the likes of Bynum and Dwight.
When you have guys like Marc Gasol, Z-Bo, or even Bosh, who are bigs that capable of playing away from the rim and hitting jump shots, he's useless.

Calm down OKC fans. You will need him next year in the WCF against the Lakers with a healthy Dwight.
While he will never be the player he was pre injury he can still fill a needed role even if he does have a poor contract. He looked worse than normal because of the offensive struggles of the whole team. No Harden/Westbrook means perkins screens on PnR weren't as useful. Also, because Durant had to play with the ball in his hands more Perkins wasn't able to screen for Durant off ball as much to free him up.
You weren't winning anything this year anyways. If anything I would be mad at Martin and Ibaka you guys needed more from them offensively.

pretty much a terrible, turrible, trade by OKC.
In their finals run last year, Perks did nothing.
This year, oh my god....I can't recall seeing someone as tall clank some many easy layups....the man can't finish, no wonder his team mates don't want to pass to him....:facepalm
