Sullingers undersized though. Hes never going to be able to be effective without a decent sized guy playing C beside him. I dont think there is really much in this draft that will help the Celtics so i really want them to take a raw athletic center and Adams fits the bill. Plus he was pretty average at Pitt but at the combine he looked like a completely different player really. Shows that their is improvement in him and also a willingness to improve because he had clearly put in work on his jumpshot. Hopefully he's our pick and Danny does me proud

Seems like a nice complementary player to play with Rondo.

i watched this guy a lot last year, he's extremely raw. He shouldnt have entered the draft but dude has like 18 siblings back in New Zealand he needs to feed.

Physically this guy has jaw dropping gifts, he has huge hands (biggest hands measured in the draft), huge feet so people think he might even grow a couple inches still. MASSIVE wingspan (7'5). He gained 20 lbs over the course of his freshman year which is INSANELY hard to do in-season. he can easily get to and play at a weight like 270/280. Just a monster physically.

But that is where it ends. He doesn't really know how to play the game that well, and he disappears in games, he doesn't play hard every possession and he folds like a chair in big games. A year would do him some good but dude has more important things to take care of.

Much rather have him then Melo, i dont understand why we had to take Melo in the first place hes as useless as a ejection seat in a helicopter.

I dunno man,

Still prefer Dieng to him but it's still up to D.Ainge to decide

He looked lost on the court all season because he had trouble adjusting to the speed of the college game. He will take at least 3-4 years to become anything close to a solid offensive contributor. He might be able to contribute on D but he still has trouble with rotations and timing. He runs the floor very well and stays active tho so he certainly has potential.

I watched almost every single Pitt game this year so I have a good feel for where he is at as a player. I do blame part of his struggles on Jamie Dixon tho.

I would love him on the Celtics, not just because he's from New Zealand, but because i believe he will develop into a very good player. He is raw right now but give him time.
