flop or sell blatantly when the replay shows. Lebron and Wade? Sell like crazy. Worst part is Lebron is delusional to this, while already ruining his image with 'The Decision'. Nothing to argue here either.

I see Kobe draw fouls on jump shots by flailing around pretending he got hit all the time.

About 95% of the time Shaq fell trying to draw a charge musta been a flop since there were about 2 people in the league who could make his 350 lb self actually fall.

MJ got help like no other from the refs.

And I never saw Bird or Magic play so no comment on them.

Every player will have flopped/sold contact at one point. We get that. Just so happens that Miami is riddled with them currently and it makes them extremely unlikeable considering the ridiculous talent they possess.

I'm no Kobe fan but it speaks volumes that when you search "Kobe flop" the one posted above appears numerous times. You do the same thing with LeBron and there's hundreds.

Very true with the point about LeBron's physicality too. He's an absolute beast when he wants to be.

flopping is part of the game now, unfortunately. some players have class and don't do it while others do and get laughed at. they don't care though - stern allows it, the refs fall for it and the players keep bringing in the money.

Actually, it did just that for me. Flopping once suggests you've done it many times. And the point is punctuated by the fact the GIF features Lebron.

Kobe flailed constantly and screamed bloody murder to add the extra theatrics. He also invented the bitchmade rip-thru move and passed the baton to Durant to carry it on.

Jordan, Bird and Magic were from an era where they played like men. And they were too skilled to have to resort to flops. The only guy who truly flopped on offense back in that era was Reggie Miller where he'd kick out his leg on the three pointer. It took the NBA forever to outlaw that.

Shaq flopped on defense probably once or twice in his entire career and it was during his twilight years...looked horrible when he did it too. A man of his size couldn't sell a flop if he got hit by a mack truck.

LeBron is the most hit superstar in the league while barely getting any calls at all lately. I would exaggerate a contact from time to time too.

Also the person with the most flops in this series os Paul George.

It's not splitting hairs at all..

Watching your Boston celtics a few years back the only person who consistently flops is Paul pierce. KG doesn't flop.. When he misses he misses. Ray Allen doesn't flop. Perkins didn't know how to flop. Rondo sometimes would but not that bad. Overall not too bad.

On the Heat? Wade is king flopper.. He flops every single time he penetrates and is beyond shameless with it. Bosh has had some of the worst flops I've ever seen. I remember when he cried to the media that omer ask shouldn't dive for loose balls because it was dangerous in one of the games he had a gif worthy flop against boozer. Head snap back and fall to the ground. Lebron flops disgustingly and only started doing it when he came to the heat. Battier invented the flop. They are way way worse..

Who has the gif of Tim Duncan screaming STOP FLOPPING to the heat from a year or two ago? Coming from someone with Parker and Manu on their team, that's pretty mind blowing.

gasolina
05-27-2013, 11:41 AM
To answer seriously, I think it's thir lack of size. In the 90's/early 2000's, a team featuring Shane Battier and Chris Bosh asyour 4/5 would be annihilated. Defensively, Battier flops a lot since he gets overmatched easily by the bigger 4's. Especially during rebounds. I think they're also alowed to get away with more holding/pushing for the very sam reason.

On the offense, I think Lebron and Wade are just bitches.

They're not great team tho.. They're just winning because they're super stacked compare to the rest of the league and also the injury to key players of other teams that can at least compete them like the Bulls.. Even with all this advantage, they still need to cheat just to win cheap ring like flopping, one sided reffing, dirty plays, cheap shot that makes refs to pretend nothing happen. etc.

People will not remember this cHeat team as a great team instead people will remember them as the most undeserving champs of all time in short David Stern Rigged Team.. Wish Miami Heat change their name into Miami Stern when David Stern retire to honor his accomplishment for that team and also they need to retire Joey Crawford number in the near future for his unequaled contribution in that team so no one can use his number again in that arena just like MJ..

That would probably define why they are great in this era.

Every great team has that advantage, that's why they are great.

This team is NOT great as a unit. The only impressive or "great" thing they have done since joining is the winning streak this past regular season. Other than that they are just taking advantage of today's fast & soft style of play.

It's obvious the NBA is more oriented with an uptempo style and is a guards league now. That being said, physical play is not what it used to be. Fouls are called for any contact (or no contact), players cant even say anything without getting a quick Tech, coaches/players fined for any comments re refs/calls. I don't blame the players for it, I blame the league & Stern for letting this beautiful game lose part of its history.

Of current Heat players, only Battier is included on the list. Don't you guys like using polls to back your arguments? :confusedshrug:

Nobody made a video because nobody really gives a chit about Kobe Bryant. He's a footnote in the back of our minds along with other players like Chris Paul, etc.

We're forced to hate on Kobe because of his retarded fans who keep trying to prop him up to places he has no business being.

Meanwhile, you have fans that are so salty and jealous of this historic assemblage of talent on the Miami Heat, that they just have to catalogue every LeBron, Wade, Bosh mistake or flop. They have a collection of them in their hard drives and they trade them like trading cards while they talk about how the refs rig the NBA to help the Miami Cheat win games, then they log off the internet and go to sleep in their 7 year old Kobe jerseys.

Like all cities Miami has some rough spots(Liberty city, Overtown, Opa locka) but its definitely not a shit hole

Nah, Miami is indeed a shithole. Most of the people there can't stand each other, traffic everywhere, and the combination of heat, humidity, and mosquitos will drive you crazy. The mosquitos there are so big and rampant they may as well be the state bird. I prefer Orlando and St. Pete, FL whenever I choose to visit the state. The more south you go in FL the worse it gets.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.
