Yah b-b-b-but there's tons of MJ/Magic/Bird/Wilt/Russell/Kobe/Robertson/Duncan/Shaq/Jabbar highlights doing this same thing in the playoffs tho, cause flopping is all just part of the game and we should just accept it rite?

I don't get why a talented player and one of the best in the game right now, would resort to that.

Right, "Heat" fans want to pretend Lebron doesn't represent the league (or rather, MISrepresent the league) when he plays poorly or attempts to cheat while the entire World is watching. However, when he wins MVP's and displays athleticism and all around skills they are the first ones that want us all to give him that type of credit. Lebron is one of the premiere players to ever play the game. Yet he tries to CHEAT and FLOP all the time :facepalm it is sickening and someone of his stature (he's the face of the f*cking league right now) SHOULD NEVER PLAY LIKE THAT. He's destroying this era, this is going to be known in the future as the "flop era" and people are going to look at highlights of flops from this era and laugh their ass off and call it weak because of him and his negative influence.

He is starting to piss me off lately. All the talks how he does not flop and he has flopped in every game this series.

Lol at David West flopping too.

Today's game had more flops by the Pacers though, especially Paul George and Stephenson.

Funniest part is this is a premeditated flop. Its like he was planning it. He puts his arm around West and then immediately acts like he got hit with an uppercut. West counters by flopping as well, but he isnt as talented a flopper as king james.

I'd say this one ranks right next to the one against Dallas in the Finals where he inexplicably stumbled out of bounds without being touched. James is too damn good a player to resort to these tactics. It is indefensible.

Ruining the league. :facepalm And David stern is too much of a businessman to fine and call out Lebron for doing it. We need a commissioner that cares about the sport more than the business side of the league.

I don't like West doing it either, but no one cares what West does. He isn't the best player in the league. He isn't the face of the NBA.

When James does things like this, it reflects poorly on the whole league.

Also, West's was pretty clearly an attempt not to get called for the foul on what was a clear flop and LeBron actually did throw his arm into West's chest/face area. He exaggerated the contact, obviously, and like I said... I don't like any of that.

But, James' flop just makes no sense to me. It was premeditated and on a play with absolutely no contact to warrant it.

Just an attempt to flat-out deceive officials and nothing more. Does a player of James' immense natural talent and skill really need this kind of advantage? This flop deserves a hefty fine, imo.

West exaggerated with his hands, but if you look at their feet, LeBron basically tries to pull down West's right foot with his two feet. I would stumble too.. Look at the pull back after the three feet release. There was a pretty strong hold LeBron had.

We should stop comparing him to the greats. He isn't a great and never will be. And he knows it. If he thought he had what it took to be a great player, he wouldn't resort to that shit.

The thing is, when you have a top 5 player in Chris Paul and THE face of the league in LeBron James continuously flopping, there is no example to be set to the league. Players think... 'look, the best players do it, so why can't we?'

It's honestly disgraceful how LeBron has consistently flopped ever since he took his talents to South Beach. There has to be some accountability here - he has to either come out and say 'look, I'm sorry, stop flopping everyone' or the league has to clamp down on this shit and either give a HEFTY fine to LeBron or Chris, or maybe even a suspension. It will only stop if a superstar is made example of, or a superstar is willing to come out and stamp it down.

Unfortunately the league can't just do that. It's not in the CBA.. though there should definitely be some on-court ramifications for flopping.

what a disgrace of a player Lebron is..... always taking the easy way out. first joins 2 other superstars in their primes, then that's not enough he needs to resort to flopping for free throws, which he only makes seventy something percent of. :oldlol:

this dude is a joke. How can anyone actually respect him as a basketball player is beyond me.

The rule should be -- two things

1) Coaches should have 2 challenges per game.

2) If a coach uses a challenge on a play where his player was called for a foul, and it is determined that the opposing player flopped in order to get a bogus call -- should be flagrant foul. 2 shots and possession.

Opposing coaches will stamp this out of the league if given a chance.

Obviously you have a very poor sense of direction. His elbow was pointed in the opposit direction. Hitting the front of someones arm isn't going to hurt anyone.
