I wonder how this stuff starts in professional arenas. You see college kids mock other universities all the time, but it's almost always preplanned. Is it a group of loud people and the rest of the arena just jumps in intuitively?

It was crazy because fans were trying to start it all game, but it was hard to because the Spurs PA kept playing the usual Spurs songs. Hard to start it over another song. Finally at the end when there wasn't a lot of music it went into full force. It was great. And then fans sung it all the way out of the stadium after the game.

Basketball will always be my favourite sport, but the atmosphere is nothing like soccer. They don't need sound systems or halftime shows. They just all know their team's chants and if you've ever been at a soccer game, you'd know the atmosphere is awesome! I like how the Spurs fans were singing that :lol
