He's playing well so I don't see why he should be upset other than his team losing.

Those first two things would have likely happened regardless of whether or not he left Boston.

And had he stayed in Boston I suppose he wouldn't be as hated, but he wouldn't be playing in the finals either.

OK, he's playing in the Finals, and?:confusedshrug:

The whe purpose of losing out on a few extra mil, and tarnishing his good graces with most NBA fans, was for another ring. If he doesn't get it, then

Also, he has the opportunity to play in the finals as a legitimate contributor for a contender. Next season too. Life's good for Ray.

He's in the finals and has a shot at a title. Nothing is guaranteed. The fact that he has the opportunity to win one is worth it enough. Honestly, what else can you ask for? You are 2 wins away from a title. If you lose, so what? You still had a great chance to win one.

How is he tarnishing his good graces? People will always remember him as one of if not the best shooter to ever play the game. They wont remember him signing in Miami. Boston fans may be a bit salty but they know they were going no where with or without him.

Only a few Allen fanboys still like him, and now he's about to get nothing for tarnishing his image. Damn homie, at least get a ring for being a turncoat fucboi.

Lmao. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Yeah, leave a team you went to war with and won a ring with, and go to the rival team. Lmao. I can't wait to see the look on hiw face as he's sitting on the bench asking himself why the F he went to the rival team, and still didn't get a ring out of it.

Yeah, but you gotta admit it's very strange for both records to be broken during the same season....and right after a controversial departure from Boston to Miami. :lol

It's like he sold his soul to the Devil, and paying for it.

Getting a ring would have a final say.

He also shares the record for most 3's in a playoff series at 28. That might go down as well.

What do you mean whatever makes you sleep at night? What does Ray Allen have to do with being able to sleep at night? Dumb post by a shyt poster as usual.

So he should have just rotted away on a Celtics team who is not going to win a title? He has a few years left, and wants to play on a team that can compete at the highest level. How is that a bad thing?

He gave Boston his all, and to repay him he was benched and he was in the center of just about every single trade rumor involving the Celtics last season. He owes nothing to Boston, he brought it every night.

Lmao. Yeah, go to the one team that would be a slap in the face to your organization to go to. All that drama, no ring. Lmao.

No it wasn't. Given his history with the Celtics last season, he was going to leave that team anyways. Going to Miami was his best shot at winning another ring, but realistically all NBA players, including the Spurs who were swept as a 1 seed not too long ago, understand nothing is given in this league.

And as for his good graces, Ray Allen at his age is pretty irrelevant as an all-star where most (except Boston fans and a few Heat haters) could care less about him.

Chance for a ring? You're acting like he's Gary Payton or Karl Malone. Let's keep it real. He just wanted that Miami poon. Turncoat ass fucboi.
