What ****ing biased officiating

http://oi39.tinypic.com/2jb2iyr.jpg

Enter Tony Brothers.

A simple google search of his name and the first link is an article titled "Tony Brothers: The Most Incompetent Official in the NBA.
Article: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/139763-tony-brothers-the-most-incompetent-official-in-the-nba

As soon as I saw that Manu Ginobili "three" not get the review signal I knew from the start we were in for one of the biggest travesties in NBA History.

This guy does not know how to ref games. San Antonio is getting rewarded because they have small weak players on the perimeter that dive forward( on their own) at the slightest hint of contact. And the official is buying it.

Meanwhile LBJ and D-Ward are in attack mode at the rim, but because these are guys that have put their hours in the weight room they are able to absorb the contact without it knocking them down. There is no foul call despite the defensive player using illegal pushing and holding tactics. All the official is looking at is whether the guy is falling down or not. I've seen better reffing at intramural games.

We going to reward small guys just because they dont put the work in the weight room while holding other players physical abilities that they worked for against them? Tony Brothers says so.

What a ****ing joke of an officiating job.

Of course it's the biggest travesty the game has seen. When the Spurs guy got knocked out of the court with no foul call, then Heat proceed to go on a run when down 15, trying to keep the game from a blowout..

Ohhhh, you meant agggaaainst Heat :oldlol:

Lol reffing has been better than anything we have memory off in the finals. The only bad reffed stretch of this series occurred game 4 1st quarter when SAS was building a lead and started to get shit call after shit call.

The three pointer was reviewed and reverted to a two pointer.

Yeah, but that was only cuz Jeff Van Gundy was going off about it to get their attention. Jeff Van Gundy gives great insight during the games. best thing about ESPN/abc, other guy sucks though.

Gonna be checking the officating crew Tuesday afternoon. Need to put Scott Foster or Danny Crawford on it. cant risk having more inept officials.

I'm unbiased in this series. Not a Heat fan. Not a Spurs fan. I agree the game was poorly officiated - and was grossly in-favor of San Antonio. I'm not saying there's some secret agenda, conspiracy, etc. to allow the Spurs to win, but it did seem way off. Even as bad as it was though, it was NOWHERE NEARLY AS CLOSE as that Game 5 of Lakers VS Kings where Doug Christie's face fouled Rick Fox's elbow. Now that was some shameful shit.

Agreed. The reffing was definitely in San Antonio's favor in this game. Before this game the refereeing had been surprisingly good in the Finals, but I knew it had to end at some point. Throughout most of the playoffs Miami had a lot of calls go in their favor, and in games 1-4 of the finals the reffing looked pretty unbiased.

Today's game, however, was disgusting. The worst ones to me were the moving screen calls on Miller and Lebron during momentum shifting runs. The one on Miller was especially bad, the call was made even though there was no contact and Green didn't even flop.

EDIT: To make it clear, I think San Antonio would have won the game anyway, but the reffing was unjustifiably terrible in this game.

Yep it was nowhere near as rigged as that Lakers series.

This is a problem though thats been happening in the NBA recent years. The refs reward guys for being little because when they get contact it knocks them back. Bigmen and muscular players such as LeBron James are big and bulky so those same fouls dont give the same physical evidence of being fouls

Just because a player is bigger and stronger though doesn't mean it should take more force for a foul to be called. This is novice officiating, should not be seeing this shit at the professional ranks.

LeBron for one doesn't get half of the calls he should offensively. Your allowed to give him much more contact than a guy like Tony Parker and Derrick Rose who will get calls just for diving on their own, even if their not touched.

ever since danny green (i think) managed to intercept the wade-lebron fast break alley-oop back in game 1 or 2, lebron and wade haven't had ANY confidence on the fast break and this showed with their horrendous layups on fast break tonight, even the put backs were god damn awful ... great offensive rebounds but not even rigged refs can hide it when a player lacks that much confidence in fundamental skills of basketball

No. It clearly favoured the Heat more, although there were bad calls on both sides, but it wasn't an all-time performance by the ref.
