So far he has set the records for:

* Highest 3PT FG% in the Finals
* Most 3s made in the Finals

Soon, he will be the first FMVP in NBA history without being a previous or current All-Star!

(He also leads the team in scoring in the Finals which must be some kind of record as well. :confusedshrug: )

No because as good as he's been Parker has clearly been the driving force behind the Spurs

ben wallace was the driving force behind the 2004 pistons

joe dumars wasnt the driving force when he won fmvp

neither was james worthy

Not me. I knew Green had potential. I just wasn't sure he'd be as good as he has turned out.

Danny Green is the frontrunner for the FMVP, no doubt. I'm proud of him. He hit an all time low being cut from the Cavaliers, to being one of the top 3 point shooters in the league. He's earned every single bit to get the FMVP should the Spurs win the championship.

I still cant believe what im seeing from Danny....... i just cant... this guy, this scrub, this benchwarmer who used to do nothing but pick up Lebron's warmup clothes in Cleveland for years.... all of the sudden shooting like the greatest shooter of all time against tough competition over and over, like nobody i ever seen in a series (including Bird, Reggie, Ray)....... and could probably win the FMVP aswell............

Its not like its just one game...

one game, ok lucky...
two games, haha!!!!?
three games, hmmm.....
four games, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........
five games, ok i give up, you are THAT good, sorry for my doubts, sorry for my previous laughter, i bow down, ive seen enough, i give up, you are the greatest shooter of all ***ing time Danny Green..........

Its unbeliavable..............

I have watched every single game of his in Cleveland.... where he would 99.9% of the time just warm the bench, he was not given the opportunity / more minutes / better chance because he was BAD, i mean he was HORRIBLE..... and when he did play ive NEVER seen him shoot this good in a single god damn game, infact i cant even remember if ive seen him hit a 3PT shot (he has probably, but cant remember).......

I doubt ANYBODY on this planet saw this potential on Danny Green....

But look at him now......... dayum!!! Best shooter ever.... :confusedshrug: prove me wrong!? :confusedshrug:

Danny Green >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Reggie/Bird/Ray/Lebron/Jordan/Kobe

:confusedshrug:

He cant even believe it himself, ofcourse... he even said yesterday: "I am just waiting for somebody to pinch me and wake me up"...

You can even see it in his facial expression in game, each time he hits a shot he is absolutely shocked, his face lights up, smile goes from one ear to the other in disbelief and happiness..... something like:

Duncan or TP. Duncan made sure than Lebron shit in his pants before every drive and TP raped Lebron.

half of green's 3's were pretty wide open from catch and shoot. he buries them, nothing but net.

but let's not make it like he's doing it with the ball in his hands the whole time. he's camping out at the perfect spots. show too much respect to green, and the other spurs punch you. leave green some space, and he takes full advantage of it and breaks nba finals records.

Danny Green aka "Mr. Glorified Role Player and Career Journeyman" will be completely forgotten by June 20th when Miami wins Game 7 at home to win the 2013 title and either LeBron or Wade is holding up the Finals MVP trophy. Truth hurts.

Lebron will be forgotten about when he retires. He won't be forgotten before then only because he will be a widely recognized joke.

Anyone that honestly thinks Danny Green is the FMVP is a fcuking fool.

Nobody else in the series really has had two really effective (really conducive for the win) games - Green had three effective games and four good games. Lebron and Tony Parker had one effective game and two good games each. Nobody else is in the equation. Wade might have a chance if he wins the next two games.

Green has really spreaded the floor and killed Miami's momentum in all three wins. He should even be up for consideration for FMVP if the Heat have two different players win the next two games for them. It's really been a leaderless series but Green definitely gives it a shot makers chance.

Every 3 pointer Danny Green misses next year and for the rest of his career will piss me off. He'll probably go a combined 0-15 in his games against the Heat next year just to troll them.

Honesly, you cannot say with a straight face that Lebron is not a joke, c'mon man its obvious.:facepalm
Only people who don't make fun of him are his nut huggers and hardcore heat stans.
Even some of the sane heat fans on this board poke fun at him.

There's a difference, he actually has a chance to win FMVP,
you have no chance of being a decent poster.

It should not be ruled out, and it would definitely be the greatest achievement any NBA player could ever achieve. He would be remembered as the role player with that one talent that he maximized on and led his team to winning in the finals.

The question is, do you think this is just a "one-hit-wonder" type of season? Or is this the beginning of another legacy as a legendary three point shooter like Ray Allen or Reggie Miller?

I don't know why y'all are all surprised. The guy is a 3 pt specialist in the best league in the world, has a consistent starting job in argurably the best team. Given the open look he has due to Heat's bad defense, he's just making them pay. Again why are you all shocked because some NBA 3 pt specialist can make shots?

I think the only way Green would win it possible is if the Spurs win and Parker and Duncan have both absolutely bad games and Green lights it up again.

That's what Spo should do, right?
