Next year if he gets another ring with a dpoy or another MVP he will be back on track to the goat path

This is EXACTLY why Lebron catches flack.

Just because you're "on pace" to do something doesn't mean it'll happen. Kobe was "on pace" to win more rings than Jordan. Look how that's turned out. :oldlol:

Why is everyone so upset in this thread? Its a good video, doesn't mean you have to agree that MJ will be dethroned by James, but it is still a good video.

No one thought that anyone could challenge jordan for "GOAT", But Lebron is on the pace to do it, He's the only player that's capable of doing this and in his own style as well, not copying someone's style and this stuff.

He better copy Jordan's/Kobe's footwork, jumper and post-game, or its going to be a quick nose dive after 30.

Don't think he will ever ccatch Jordan. MJ had the ultimate story book career
After this finals I definitely think he has a shot at top 5.

Can you just stop with Jordan - Lebron comparisons? Don't you see you are doing the excatly same shit as Kobe fans were doing all these years? And how stupid and retarded it made them look?

Lets wait 3-4 years ATLEAST before we can talk about Jordan and Lebron in the same breath.

Those who think Lebron can be the GOAT are the ones too young to have lived through Jordan's time. Those of us who've seen both play know that Lebron will not surpass him no matter what he does. Throw any statistics you want into mix, don't matter.

By the way, Lebron was one missed Ray Allen shot from being a total failure this season. That end of Game 6 for Lebron was atrocious. He failed on like 4 possessions in a row.

How old was Jordan when he entered the league?

How old was LeBron when he entered the league?

Might be facts but they're not that important in determining who's a greater player. We're to assume that LeBron will be better than Jordan because he's accomplished more than Jordan had at the same age? So what! 6 rings, 6 finals mvps, zero choke jobs in the finals etc.

19 playoff series wins v 13 playoff series wins, for example. Jordan played in a tougher era.

:biggums:

Never mind the whole 8 years in the league vs 10 years.

MJ at 28 had 2 titles and 3 MVPS, with a DPOY. and 6 scoring titles.
you left those out on purpose to make your idol look better or are you just really stupid?

This finals proved that Lebron will never be anywhere near Jordan unless he improves substantially. Great player, but nowhere near the GOAT at the moment.

Exactly. Hell, 10 years in and Lebron STILL doesn't have a go-to move. And does anyone think this Heat team can reel off 2 or 3 more championships? They barely beat an old Duncan-led Spurs team and Wade's knees are going to shit. And other teams that could challenge or beat the Heat had major injuries to key players.

Unless Bron goes to another super-team, he ain't catching MJ.

Ether.

Shit threads like this one and constant hyping from the likes of ESPN and Sports Illustrated are the reasons why people can't stand Lebron and his stans.

This. Let's just acknowledge that he's very capable of matching Jordan but it's all up to LeBron to determine that, but it's premature right now to say that he's gonna get there. Talent wise, he's right there with Jordan but matching the accolades is a whole 'nother thing.

This video is flawed in that it doesn't take into account Jordan's 3 years playing college ball. Also, in terms of the philosophy of the channel, the number do actually lie sometimes. Let's be real.

This is why Jordan is so overrated it's crazy. Who says Jordan is the greatest, even if Lebron isn't as great as him? You act like Jordan is some myth that can't be touched. Bullcrap.

Appreciate what you're seeing, because you, at the end of the day, are going to enjoy greatness. Whether Jordan, Lebron or X are the greatest means nothing for you. But you get to enjoy them regardless.

Main difference for the playoff series success disparity was due to MJ facing great teams in the playoffs in his early years while Lebron faced the likes of the Wizards and the Nets.

MJ won his first MVP in 88, at 24 years of age, 4 seasons in, which happened to be the same number of seasons Lebron was during his 07 run. 4 seasons in, MJ was far superior than Lebron. MJ also won DPOY in 88, along with a scoring title.
