While LeBron Wade Bosh Allen and the Heat are at Club Story, Shane Battier heads over to Denny's with his friends and family. :lol
What other things do you picture Battier doing after going 6-10 from the 3pt line and winning his 2nd ring last night?
Here's some jokes I saw somewhere to get it started :
- After the finals he went home and balanced his check book.
- He treats himself to a new home entertainment center with his championship share. No TV's over 50" though...the Battier's are not showoffs
- Shane is the Official Heat bus designated driver.
- Cleaning up trash under the highway. Just because.
- Pressure washing his driveway
- Organizing his pantry
He's a Class Act and no way the Heat win last night without his big shots. Simple guy celebrating with the family. Can't really laugh at that. Respect.

After the game Battier dressed up as Gru from Despicable Me and visited sick kids at the Children's Hospital.
Before going to Denny's Battier grabbed a broom and helped sweep up the confetti. He called every person on the janitorial staff by their first names.

Battier's had it made his entire life. Grew up in Birmingham, went to Detroit Country Day, went to Duke, and so on.
Cool that he celebrated it with his family, gotta respect that.

i love shane battier to death, i admire his wholesome attitude. this is just a lovable poking fun at his responsible personality (which i think is a good thing)
after eating their grand slam breakfast, they played scrabble and pictionary on the table until battier had to go back home to water his lawn.

I love the fact that Battier is a 2-time Champ. Even if he is not the talents superstars are his attitude, hard-work and commitment to team are impeccable. People like this, with traits like that, deserve to be role models.

I went to the University of Florida (hence, my Tebow av). I know there are no fancy (keyword: FANCY) restaurants open at 2AM. Only open ones are cheap restaurants and the likes of Denny's.

What's wrong with celebrating with your family in a quiet setting? You can tell he's a family-first type of guy and low key. One day he'll have a place in the NBA front office.
After Shane Battier wins the championship he goes home and admires his High School, College, and NBA Championship rings. Then he logs onto ISH and laughs at the idiot that made this thread.
