In conversations with Howard, the big man reportedly called L.A. fans “the most unappreciative group of people ever,” going on to say that people in Los Angeles are “ungrateful.”

It's true, all the kobe stans blamed him for all the losses. When kobe would chuck 15-20 shots and they lose. They would blame Dwight going 0-5. Think about that, the blame goes on the guy who only took 5 shots. The main scorer and biggest chucker who has a LOW fg percentage doesn't get the blame. :facepalm

Kobe wants all the credit for the wins but none of the blame. Why did he state clearly early in the year when Howard came here that it was HIS (kobe's) team? That's right, he wanted to make clear that he was still the alpha and the credit would go to him. What happens when you lose? Shouldn't the blame go to you too?

im confused? ungrateful for what? a first round exit? and what fans is dwight talking about any how. all laker fans that roam around the city cheer and applaud dwight every time they see him, constantly pulling for him to stay with the team. when you go on internet message boards is when you see the berating of him at its highest.

So is dwight upset about what hes reading on the internet? If so, it explains a lot about his mentality and disdain for meeting fans of a teams expectations.

If this is true then Howard is about as mentally weak as they come.

You either take that pressure on or you fold.

"Blaming" fans that do not appreciate you without you having done nothing yet is just so so soft. And a massive copout.

Pretty irritating when a star athlete slams your home, isn't it?

Even if the Lakers had brought back Phil Jackson last season I doubt they would have won. Dwight was injured most of the season. Maybe Kobe doesn't have to play so much though and injure himself. But the Lakers had many injuries last season. There was no way they were winning it all even with Phil Jackson as the head coach.

until all the drama and baggage he brings with him begins to surface. Regardless, i loved what Dwight brought to the team post all star break. He was looking healthier and the numbers and wins translated. But god damn, this boy loves to whine and flip flop all the time. I couldn't agree more. I blame it on the legion of band wagoners and front runners which have consumed much of the fan base. That's one of the biggest problems that tend to affect successful, big-market franchises. But I also have to comment that a lot of the Kobe Stan's on this site are either trolls or irrational teenagers. We real, rational, intelligent Laker fans have been dying out for quite some time :(

Don't listen to these 9-year olds. Dwight would make your team much better, not worse. He is also, like you said, on perfect a DREAM match for Dirk. Not just a good match, but a DREAM match... he literally does everything that Dirk doesn't, and Dirk does everything that Dwight doesn't. The spacing becomes elite for both players. The inside game, in theory, should be unstoppable for the Mavs. The Mavericks will move up several spots in defensive rankings just by adding Dwight, because his defensive impact is that large.

Oh, well. Dwight is a piece of shit anyway. I don't know where he got this idea that Lakers fans are "unappreciative" and "ungrateful." I went to 3 home games this year and it was crazy seeing the amount of D12 jerseys in the crowd.

If he's basing it off of maybe some fans mocking him on Twitter, then he once again has shown his mental weakness. He can't handle being trolled by a few fans? Does he really think some trolls on Twitter represent every LA Lakers fans' views? I'm pretty damn sure he's not visiting message boards.

It's irritating to have this drama queen on the roster. I've never seen a superstar complain more than Dwight does. "I don't get any touches." Give him the ball more and he just turns it over more than Artis Gilmore. "I want to be a bigger part of the offense." Give him the ball more and he just gets fouled and misses 60+% of his shots at the charity stripe.

"We need to trust each other." The team puts trust in him and he gets swept in the Playoffs, albeit with a shitty line-up playing with him, but he did get outplayed by a soon-to-be-retiring Duncan. Maybe it shows Duncan's greatness more, but it also shows how delicate Dwight is. What a *****. The most dominant Center in the NBA today, according to everyone, yet he can't even hold his own against an elderly Timmy D.

This guy's defense is overrated, too. He does intimidate smaller players from running into the paint, but I don't see him intimidating any guys his size.

D12 has 0 post offense ability. He can barely do an up-and-under. His layups are pathetic. I know he came off back surgery, but does that really mean he can't at least try to develop a post game? The guy is nearly 30 and all he relies on is athleticism. I'd like to see how he plans on continuing being the "most dominant C today" when he can't jump high.

I'm not salty. I'm glad he's leaving. He's just a piece of shit player. I hate to use this term but he's a locker room cancer. He was tearing the team apart more than actually getting them to come together. All anyone has to do is pay attention to how dirty he did the Orlando franchise and you'll know his true colors. He led them on to believe the coach was the problem. :facepalm No, Dwight. Your piece of shit, shady characteristics and mannerisms were the problem. **** you.
