Wouldn't burning his jersey insinuate that they are pissed he left? All Lakers fans did was bitchabout him all season. SShouldn't they be throwing a party now that he iis gone?

Lakers fans are possibly the most spoiled fans in all of sports. Year after year they are given elite teams and exciting super star players to cheer for and when one little thing doesn't go their way they pout like children. Shameful exhibition.

Not sure why y'all acting like its a big deal. Isn't it expected that a few fans would act this way? I didn't think it was a big deal when some Cleveland fans did it, and won't when the next group of fans do it either.
Its just a bunch of attention whores on twitter anyways.
What else should they be doing with a Howard jersey they'll likely never wear again?

Well at least they don't leave the arena in an NBA finals game with 30 seconds to go only to find out their hometeam wins in OT after being down 5 points.
Miami's fans are the worst.... this forum is full of them. But, yes... Lakers fans feel way too entitled. Can't wait for their team to disappear into oblivion... which could be in a few months :)

Miami shouldn't even count as a fan base. Just about nobody in Florida give a rat's ass about Professional sports, they are the definition of fairweather fans. For a franchise as prestigious as the Lakers I'd expect that they would have a better crop of fans than they have.

This. Most of the people complaining just wanna have have something to say. I could give two shits what Lakers fans, or any fans for that matter, want to do w/ their jerseys. :oldlol:
This happens everywhere. Definitely not just an LA thing.
Who really cares though? That jersey obviously has little to no use for a Lakers fan.

A sad stereotype and completely untrue? No, not even close. There is a reason this stereotype persists. The Rays and the Marlins have the two most embarrassing crowds in baseball. The Rays have been consistently competitive in a ferocious division for the past 5 years or so. Despite this their fans are nowhere to be seen, except Dick Vitale. The Marlins have shitty management but they have won two titles in 16 years, 97' and 03'. They broke up the first title team right afterwords, understandably that would turn off a lot of fans. But they were able to field yet another championship quality team just a few years later and... the fans didn't show up. The Dolphins, in this crazed football country of ours, dropped to dead last in attendance in 2012. Everyone knows about Heat fans and their apathetic nature. So no, it is not completely untrue. It has plenty of merit.

The NFL is by far the most popular sport in the United States and the Miami Dolphins only filled up 76% of their stadium in 2012, by far the worst in the NFL. This is a team that won their division as recently as 2008. And their team in 2012 was far from terrible, at 7-9.

wtf, Harden was traded.
The whole point of that pic was to prove that fans will turn on a player because he leaves their team via FA or trade......as well as burn s*** just to get attention. :facepalm
P.S Lebron was technically "traded" so yeah don't see your point. :lol

What if you was having sex with Jessica Alba and Mila Kunis for the past 10yrs, then all of a sudden things change and you can only have sex with Rosie O'Donnell and Oprah. Ud be pissed too bruh.

**** the Lakers. They luck out by trading Bynum who was injured the whole year and get Dwight Howard and they think he should be loyal to them because he was traded there and played there one year? What a bunch of tools

Since we're talking about fans, a more fitting analogy would be to say that they've been used to watch someone else having sex with Alba for 10 years claiming it's been their own achievent as well. Lakers fans are p*ssed off because now it's much harder to pretend the success of Lakers players is their own if the team struggles to even make the playoffs next year.

Many Laker fans have the tendency to think that their newest acquired player will be their savior. In their eyes, this is the equivalent of having their high ranking leaders change religion.

Would love to go back and see how many lakers and Boston fans were talking about how pathetic cleveland fans were for doing this even though Dwight and ray didn't even come close to doing what Lebron did to his team on a nationally debuted special.
