It just further proves how much of a freak he is athletically. I think what benefits him is he seemingly has good leg/lower leg muscles to help stabilize his falls to the ground when he jumps and lands. Great lower body strength. I don't know how many times I've seen him twist an ankle and he plays through it just fine. It happened this past playoffs.
Here's a crazy stat...
Out of the 800 possibly regular season games to play in his whole career, he's played in 765 of them. And a lot of those are just rest towards the end of the season when the Cavaliers were in #1 seeding for the playoffs.
Also I believe he's played in every playoff game he could've played in.
That's 95%+ of games.

And you must be even more dumb if you think injuries cant happen to a player with good work ethic. Look at Kobe. He has the best work ethic in the league and that couldn't prevent the injury. Injuries can happen to anyone regardless of how he takes care of his body.

It may be little ridiculous, but it's still a little funny. Ever since Durant admitted he has an analyst track Lebron's stats and activities, it has been hilarious how much he tries to pass Lebron. He did say "I am tired of being 2nd".
Yet he was...
2nd in the Draft
2nd best player in NBA
2nd in the Finals
2nd in scoring
2nd in MVP voting
2nd in terms of durability
2nd alpha on his own team
2nd seed in the West
2nd round exit
2nd guy to hug a fan after a made halfcourt shot

I'm far from an idiot. Watch with the comments.
What does work ethic have to do with the fact that Lebron is an amazing athlete? You said that Lebron is faster, stronger than Kobe because of his work ethic?? Uh no, he's faster stronger than Kobe because he's a superior athlete. Those other NBA players that had physical gifts?? They are faster and stronger than Kobe too. Work ethic shouldn't even enter the conversation.
I could have all of the work ethic in the world but I'm never going to be an NBA athlete. And there are plenty of people in the freaking NBA that could work harder than Lebron and not achieve what he can. Lebron was just born with gifts that few others have had. He does have great work ethic, but he can do a ton more with that work ethic than I (or most other humans) could, because of his gifts.

When he went up for that alley-oop against the Knicks and landed hard on his left knee I thought for sure he tore his ACL or had some sort of serious knee injury. But he got back up in a few minutes and walked it off, I was like  (For those who forgot (http://youtu.be/6bTC-wk1_2g)). If that was anyone else other than LeBron, it would've been serious. He also tweaks/injures his ankle a lot and walks those off too, dude is a ****ing beast.
