Knicks are building around Carmelo with the Bargnani trade. A pg is the next piece that has to be acquired.

Suns new management is putting their own mark on the roster, and Bledsoe wasn't brought in to be a career backup. Shumpert would be a great piece next to Bledsoe to make up a new core moving forward w Len. Felton and his backup pg contract gives them another valuable trade piece.

Great trade for both teams?

WTF do Suns fans want to do? Have Bledsoe as backup? Start him at SG? Both of those are dumb ideas and y'all might as well trade one of them.

Knicks waterboy > Shumpert.

Actually, wait.

Heat waterboy > Shumpert. He's got that championship experience that gives him the edge. Knick fans seem to love this scrub.

Keep shump but dragic is better than felton. Straight up, it's a good trade for the Knicks.

Says the Bobcats fan. He'd be the best player on your team instantly. MAYBE not better than Al Jeff...

So your starting back court can't shoot? You just want defenders to pack the paint like the Spurs did to the Heat in the Finals for 82 games?

shump is already a fan favorite because he is one of the few knick players who bring defensive intensity EVERY GAME for EVERY MINUTE out there. dragic for shump? i say hell no to that.

Maybe if the Knicks add a pick or two. Hell, even then with the way Phoenix is playing I wouldn't do it. Why on earth would any team trade their best player for Iman Shumpert and Pillsbury Dough Boy? :biggums:

Averaging 7/4.5reb this season... on... 38%.

He's a ****ing scrub, bro. Tony Allen's got better defense, averaging double digits, and 2steals a game on nearly 50%. Shumpert is a scrub.

Damn, Knicks fans are dumb they legitimately thought Shumpert was better than Dragic?

Shump is not a scrub but he plays like one every now and then. He's had too many 0 pt games for my liking. I've come to the conclusion he will never make it here, if they can trade him in a package to land someone of value, I'd be more inclined to do it nowadays.

That being said, I don't want Dragic. He's priced himself out and he doesn't come here and turn this shitty team into a threat against the Heat or Pacers. So take your Dragic overration elsewhere. He is playing somewhere where he has free reign, he wouldn't be doing that here running Mike Woodson's offense :kobe:

That's fair enough about Dragic playing like he is due to free reign, but you at least admit he's miles better than Shumpert right?

Also the irony of Knicks fans calling Lin a scrub and defending Shumpert is palpable (not saying it was you, but it was said)

Yes, he is a better and more established player than Shump. Shump outside of his texas trip and shitting on the Nets has been such a letdown this year. I wanna blame it on his surgery, but he's shown too many flashes.

I don't think Lin is a scrub, I was puzzled as fck when they didn't re-sign him. At the time I was hoping Felton could provide a similar amount of impact... wrong again

Shumpert has shown flashes, and he isn't a scrub. I was being facetious when I said it. His stats are definitely that of a scrub right now but I don't truly believe he is a scrub. Seems like the type of guy who would benefit a LOT from a Rondo (or even Hinrich) type PG.

Did you read what I was referencing to? Of course I know what Gringo means -

In any event, I love Shump's energy and attitude... but this coach and system is killing him. Early on I did not want to trade him, but I hate seeing him waste away here.

What other noteworthy white PGs have the Suns had other than Dragic and Nash? I guess Jason Kidd is PART white. There wasn't an ounce of white in Kevin Johnson or Stephon Marbury though... lol

Well? What would the Knicks be with dragic ? 3rd best team in the east right now. There was a time there where if enough was given who knows. (Shumpert, hardaway jr, Felton 1st for dragic and Gerald green. Now of course dragic has blown up and the Knicks badly needed a point gaurd.
