true, but primarily by laker fans. a lot of other non-net fans have also said nets will be 2014 nba champions. but lakers had a lot of other problems from the beginning. dwight missed first half of season, nash injured on and off, pau being benched and lakers going through two different coaches. nobody expected all of that to happen.

Huh. Must've missed those posts.

I still think they'd be better with Dwight alone than KG, AK, and these other throw-ins. Maybe they'll prove me wrong though, meaning Garnett would have to continue besting Father Time.

Would it have been difficult to address this issue within the aforementioned thread?

Or within ISH's stupidest things thread.

The precedent of starting a new thread for every foolish comment would likely crash ISH.

Is that better?

its the collection of talent that will mean KG will only need to be ready for the finals and have to do very little in the reg season.

the nets owner has brought a whole different ballgame to the definition of superteam. we have created a monster.

Heat can't beat this team and i doubt bulls can either, they are muthafcken stacked!!

much props. great post. i agree. the nets are a behemoth. they are too good. teams should not be allowed to be 10 deep at this extent.

I'm sure Heat fans are going to flame your team all year round and tell you that you will be 1st round exits, but yeah they scuured.

They have no right to complain or bitch about it, Nets and the ownership basically took it that one step further and may beat the Heat at their own game.

A glamorous all paper team gets you fighting for the playoffs. A real team makes you a contender.

Well you seem kind of butthurt to create an obviously sarcastic thread about posters overrating the Nets. In reality it's just a couple of fans having fun. In reality there are way worse trolls and idiots making outlandish statements on this site.

They will be an interesting team for sure. Not sure how it will all play out but I'm not sure I would rate them ahead of Indy and Chicago heading into the season.

All I know is that seeing Pierce in a Nets jersey is going to be a strange/sad sight.

If they lost to the Heat,
I can't wait to hear how terrible the nets were and how easy LeBron has it Dom the same posters saying "nets 2014 champs"

Thanks boss. Glad you're monitoring my thread (started in fun) and my level of butthurtness when I started it (which was 0).

I dont see anyone beating them except the Heat. The problem is the Nets have to get the 1 seed. Hypothetically, if the Nets get the 2 seed, they might have to ge past the Pacers or Bulls in the 2nd round which will be hard. Then after a tough 2nd round they have to face such a talented and rested Heat team who will breeze through the Bucks or whomever in the 1st and then the Knicks in the 2nd round.
